      I do know this packing

      I can see that the blister is stapled together, but the question is, was MS299 sold like this?

          Well, obviously both figures and their mounts seem to be original castings in fine condition.
          The second picture reveils a fake package as that MS299-release never was released within the brand of Prince August. You’re right saying that there is a typical part of one of the old Mithril-blister-packages used, but it simply was fixed with tape to an paper Prince August blister-background.
          BUT !!!! What is worse about that fake is the fact that a major part of that release is not provided. That is that large base with wonderful details reveiling the debris at the broken gate of Minas Tirtith. (Or could it be seen at the very right end down in the blister? If that’s the case I even dare to say that the original base would never fit into such a small blister. But you might draw your own conclusion. – – – A shame that is, I think.

            I agree with Master Ent, this is bad & fake packaging.
