Knowing what a fantastic paint job would have been under the ‘glop’ you have my sympathy . What varnish was this?

Certainly it’s not one I ever want to use, so the name would be useful! But I always use Testors Dullcote anyway.

The varnish was Mr super clear, in spray:

I have been using it for several years without problems, with great results. I think that was a momentary problem with the spray.

Yes, Master Barliman, that Pippin is absolutely charismatic

And Master Thingol, I think that the size is not the real problem to face this miniatures, but the way we interprete the light of the minisature and the volumes of the sculpture
