[mith]MV376[/mith] – The Barrow-tomb

I tried to paint the tomb to obtain “white marble effect”. Very difficult and not completely successfull…
In this vignette, I like the hobbits above all.

Rivendell daytime

I made this diorama in 1996.
Floor is hand made: small oilskin floorboards made of balsa.

Last paint was in 2008: [mith]M303[/mith] – Great Eagle attacking Orc (page 1).

I only restarted to work on it when I joined you. Looking at all your paintings revived my soul I guess…
I am working on “[mith]M136[/mith] – The Mirror of Galadriel ” at the moment.
Next will be “unexpected party”. I wish to build Bilbo’s house for it (at least living room).
I might finish this in 2011.

I am about to finish “Aragorn’s Leave-Taking” restored diorama.
Trees are planted, the river is nice, the bridge repaired. Hopefully pictures will be done this week-end.

I did finish Aragorn’s Leave-Taking yesterday.
