Our beloved Elf is our beloved Elf. He did sooo many things which are really professional and really decisive.
And that´s sthe reaon I stay as a member here on “his” MMP and not on the main board.

Well, that’s quite clear. And if it stays at that the choice set by L.E. is clear as well: My way or the highway.
Either we accept it that Mithril only sells MS (even figures that are essentially M’s) for GF prices (again – even M’s) or it is all shut down. Since no one of us has tens or hundreds of thousands of Euros leftover to solve the financial issues of Mithril (and if it IS the reason – and not only the one told to us to silence opposition) we have to accept it as well.
That way we have absolutely NO leverage against Lars Edman or Mithril in general. Either we pay the prices that are demanded (necessary?) or the business is finished. Period.
The only chance (according to the current state of information) to put up pressure in our sense (making clear that we will pay it for a limited time but only when there are major changes in the future) is to make it clear that that hard core of the GF (or at least this part that makes itself felt now) won’t go all along the way under these conditions. Of course then you’ll risk finishing off Mithril altogether, but the other option (as it stands now) is to pay the price that is asked for and let do L.E. doing business as he sees fit as in the past without any need to change something. Why change it if the people – who may rumble sometimes – in the end pay every price just to keep their toy? Do not misunderstand me that I want to kill Mithril, but at some point everyone has to ask himself if it’s really worth to bow to everything (with some growling) just to keep Mithril afloat (and even then always on the verge of collapse). And at that point it is not only a question but of self-respect as well.
So it becomes a highly individual decision whether you pay every price that is demanded just to keep Mithril – barely – alive (and business is mismanaged as usual), or you set your priorities otherwise. For me – though I admire the style of the figures (most at least
) – it is clear that I won’t pay GF prices for every mini released. That’s quite clear for me personally. I really like the minis, but they are not my personal top priority in the Tolkien-related business. Somewhere there’s a line I’m not willing to cross and this style of doing business (seemingly clearly mismanaged for some time now) is not something I’m willing to support. If I have to spend continuously too many bucks on a product not worth it, at least I’d demand a say how things can be improved in the end.If it comes down to that at the end of the day and Lars Edman is not willing to communicate, incorporate the community and making processes transparent, I’ll quit by not buying the products I deem it not worth.
I’m not willing to be blackmailed and even have to say “thank you” for it.

TolwenWise text…. Master Tolwen…. wise…. and you are right… but I think that finally our passion will be winner in this case.
There is difference between just 100% collectors and just supporters whose buy some of the figures they’re like…. lot’s of us already have whole range of figures but there are members of our forum whose collect only figures which are the best for their concept dioramas and projects ( Master Turambar… Master Caster etc…. )
Also I’m for sure disappointed with some figures of MS especially with ruined concept of Haldir… and Troll standard bearer where this troll looks like a zombie… but in this case I’ve bought those figures on 10.10.10. unique offer further reduced with price invoiced without VAT for non EU countries so finally I’ve pay for those figures almost 50% lover price. So this is also sad if the mithril exist through those offers… and does it not correct from LE to claim that it is not possible to have low prices because of the high producing costs.
I still thinking that he likes mithril too but he does not want to confess this in public. I mean a front of us…. here CT figures freak and zealots
… but finally who knows the truth… supreme deity and divinity….I’m assured in one! One day those figures will be rare and precious as today already some of them are. So It is better to be sold in low and limited editions. For our heirs!
And LE willing to communicate…this is part of the personal attitude and house nurture…
What I said a long time ago. Mithril nowadays is a write of. Good for tax not good at all for collectors.

master Dieter, master Chris Tubb (since both of you are on this forum…) you have received a long email to check…things will take time, but plans have to be made and put into motion
slowly but seriouslyI won’t put all the mail here… it is REALLY too technical and too long, let’s just say I have thought about almost everything
