It seems master Arnaud Godet is having some money troubles … I saw he put this on sale on ebay :

this is the first time ever… that this figurine has been put on ebay this is the prototype of Galadriel that was replaced by Aragorn and the Palantir as introduction figurine for the Gold Fellowship… its reference is [mith]MS423A[/mith]

too bad that he has to sell such a rarity to afford other MS releases I hope for him it will sell well…

I am a lucky owner of such a rarity, as some of us are but it is a jewel in a mithril collection… which could prove as rare (even more) than a M16! (less than 30 or this Galadriel exist if I remember correctly)

What can I Say. I have one of them…. so I’m one of the lucky one… Master Caster… It seems that there are more than 10 came from the Chris working table… Galadriel’s secret Society…

Anyway MX421 in this auction is interested to me in this rarely moment

About that Lady my notes say that there are “about 15 miniatures existing”. So far they were never sold, as they were only given away by Chris as gifts.
Anyway, that figure is extremely rare.

I’m agree with Master Ent ! Chris gave me one approximately two years ago. At its auction I won an M17 and he sent me to MS423A as a gift because he said thet I am his first customer of the former failed Yugoslavia…. Interesting … short story….

That’s The Man. He’s absolutely great.
He once gave me one of those rare Galadriels when I bought, I think it was the last set of the Mw347 command group from him for quite a price on Ebay. He then thought that the price I payed was much too high, so he decided to send me that Galadriel along with that set I bought.
That’s The Man … and I value such gestures very much as it leaves you breathless.

I know the Man is very generous… I don’t think it would be wise to share “precisely” how generous he has been with me to thank me for this site which he seems to love dearly… I’ll just say it is an offer that has saved me lot of stress…(and hopefully will keep saving me lots of stress in the future too…)

I seem to have this one as well, but unprimed, looks exactly like the photo but the A underneath is not clear.

As a personal gift from Chris at SALUTE it makes it even more special.
