      Item number: 150293654488 MB279 The Lord of the Nazgul boxed set

      I’ve put ‘original’ as this is the one with the resin base (who says Mithril can’t do resin ;) ), which is what my first MB279 has, unlike a second one which has the metal cast base abd which was purchased soem years after the first.

      I don’t suppose it is particularly rare, but could possibly be classed as a variant if you stretch the meaning of the term because of the resin base.

          well variant is not really the term… original is the correct word…the one with the metal base is a “recast”… Mine too has its base in resin and until some years ago, I thought there were ALL in metal…
          We could use the same idea for the Vengence of Smaug which was cast with two different metals, the original one being a doom for the balance of the figurine, thus the recast in a new alloy
