Your M29 has a broken leg?!
My M28, M29, M30 has got broken legs . . . 😡
(I recognize a picture from me showing the M29 the broken leg did already exist . . . )
I am just about to restore that Rohan-diorama. ( take it as a pause while painting Haradrim . . . )Unfortunately not, Master Elf, though I would have been glad to help you. Thank you for that “thing” in the gallery section . . .
November 19, 2010 at 7:14 am #13290Hallas, I am missing these… Sorry I cannot help.
November 20, 2010 at 11:32 am #13321Master Gildor , I had a look and I do have a Horse for M28/29. Now the question is , which one is the one for 28 and which one is the one for 29? Your answer now will be they are both the same! Sorry I have to correct you, because there is a difference between the both. If you look at the frontlegs, with one horse the legs are attached close to each other and with the second horse there is a casting channel between the two legs. I just don’t know which one belongs to which rider. Maybe someone has a M28 or M29mib and can have a look and let us know. I’m posting some pics aswell, so you can see the difference.

November 20, 2010 at 12:22 pm #13323I do not possess any of these (yet ) and can only make assumptions from de MMP DB pictures.
I see also slight difference on ears, mane and tail position
To me M28 horse has tail higher, mane smother and ear rounder ==> I vote that M28 is the left one on your pictures.
November 20, 2010 at 3:30 pm #13324D****d … this time I cannot help, as I painted those two riders. Before that I usually cut off all casting channels. – But let me give you advice not to do so, as these two horses then become extremely unstable.
November 20, 2010 at 4:41 pm #13325I can tell the following: I have one 28 and 29 original figures and both have NO chanel !
I cut the legs and curved them into another direction. Master Theobald just explained why this was a mistake . . .I was able to get two further horses somewhere across ebay for a little money and they also hadn´t that chanel.
I am collecting different pictures of our beloved miniatures over the years. I NEVER saw that chanel!I am curious about this matters . . .
November 20, 2010 at 5:06 pm #13326As for your other question, Master Hsf62, I can tell that for those four Rohirrim riders there were two different poses of the horses casted. Each of the two versions are identical in itself, as you can see having a look at the subreference, where a ‘slash’ is put between the numbers. – So, there’s no difference between the horse for the M28 and M29. And it’s the same with the two horses for M30 and M31. – That’s all I know of.
November 21, 2010 at 11:12 am #13327Hmm that is strange, because I do have a equal ammount of riders and horses 28/29 with half of the horses having that channel and the others don’t. So That’s why I thought the horse for M29 was different to the one of M28…..
Is there anyone out there who actually has a horse with a channel between the frontlegs?November 21, 2010 at 10:42 pm #13361Look at these auctions and maybe these pictures will answer this debate.

in this case any M28/M29 horse (since they are the same) could do, to replace my horse…
the sword for M31 though… won’t be that easy to get…
I remember having also a broken sword for [mith]M18[/mith]… but I repaired it…. still it is repaired and not genuine…and broken (but repaired) dagger for [mith]M82[/mith] master of the tama…November 22, 2010 at 3:57 am #13368Ok Master Gildor, I send you a mail.
January 18, 2011 at 1:48 pm #14573Master Gildor, there is a nice M31 here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110635445586
Happy bidding !
January 18, 2011 at 2:50 pm #14575ah thanks!! will try to bid on that one! though I can’t understand what’s written in the description in capitals (including somthing about a M4)
Could a german speaking person translate the description to me in private please?
January 18, 2011 at 3:10 pm #14576aie…google translator says the following:
“IMPORTANT PLUS D’INFOS: Ceci est pour le cheval, malheureusement, pas le cheval d’origine. Ce n’est que très peu de
chevaux différents, qui appartient en réalité à M4 (les deux ont été confondus lors du tri apparemment).”Well, it won’t be this time for you then…
January 18, 2011 at 5:36 pm #14582I have the original horse… it’s the original SWORD that I miss (in the case of M31) so this could be fitting completly
January 18, 2011 at 9:34 pm #14596I keep you fingers crossed Master Gildor !
January 23, 2011 at 10:37 am #14664mmhhh so far the M31 reached 18€… I wonder if some of you have bid on it, but for a single missing sword it’s quite a high price I’m not sure I’m willing to pay for just one broken sword…
We’ll see this evening…
