the correct spelling is lešina (singular) / lešinas (plural) -> (lae-shee-nah) … it’s croatian and means “carcass,” “cadaver” and even “lich,” apparently. “razarač” means “devastator,” “destroyer.” i had mentioned this curious link to croatian before.
March 20, 2012 at 9:46 am #23513well Lesinas or Lesinavi or special ghouls from the “extended tolkien universe” in the desert of Harad.
Gavin did not make an entry in the court of Ardor for them
maybe I’ll ask if he can provide some more info
March 20, 2012 at 10:15 am #23516Thanks, fellows. It’s nice to know these things, even if they haven’t got anything to do with Tolkien.

March 25, 2012 at 7:14 pm #23574M16 went for a measly £63
, I wonder what it would have reached if the seller had been prepared to sell worldwide?

March 25, 2012 at 7:38 pm #23577It wasn’t me by the way, but I did watch the last minute of the auction in anticipation of a rush of bids…. that didn’t happen.

After all it was a incomplete M16! 2 parts, one missing, halfprice…
March 26, 2012 at 1:53 pm #23582Milo, whats bad about selling parts of a collection if the focus changes? It gives new collectors the chance to complete their collection. Not a bad thing at all!

The sword of m16 is not unique to her but can be fond on other figures as well and if needed easy to recast.
March 26, 2012 at 4:44 pm #23584as far as I can tell you are wrong mornedhel, the M16 sword has some specificity that are not found in any other figurine. you can see that in the pictures on the database now, and Holger or Theobald could correct me if I’m wrong… this sword is INDEEd unique in the whole mithril range…
That’s also why an incomplete M16 is worth a LOT LESS than a complete one… the genuine sword is almost rarer than the figurine itself…
