150815863532…. double figures or…. not… I hope those are double figures….
May 14, 2012 at 9:11 am #24129Mmmm, I doubt painted ones are double figures…
May 14, 2012 at 4:58 pm #24131I think you got that wrong. As far as I can see (or better: read) Master Zoetrop is not selling his painted versions of the MX-figures. I imagine he simply put the pics of them on Ebay to better show what the figures are like. What he’s selling are unpainted figures in blisters. – But to re-assure I’m about to contact him. —- Anyway, it’s a real treasure he’s selling for a very low price to start with. I do really hope that he gets at least a good part of the money back which he had to spend for buying the figures … alas … I just know that he’s very much angry and disappointed of Mithril, as he pointed out some days ago on the German thread on the official Mithril-GF-board – and … I can understand him well, I have to admit.
May 14, 2012 at 6:52 pm #24133but?? I missed something here, who is it ? who sells all the MX?

May 14, 2012 at 7:39 pm #24138Yes, it is, Master Thingol, otherwise I wouldn’t have said that before, What he sells are blistered (or boxed) figures, originals. He will not sell his painted versions, I’m sure. But how to try to catch interest selling a Frumgar, e.g., where in the good-old blister you only can see the arse of the horse and all those details and are not reveiled … sorry … rude language I was using … just trying to make that clear … though … I’m sure you can rely upon what Master Zoetrop is selling at the momemnt – I wish he would have chosen a better starting price for all of them figures … alas …
The pics are in his latest catalogue on p. 117, by the way … alas ….May 14, 2012 at 7:45 pm #24140Sorry again, I forgot to mention one important aspect – if Master Zoetrop sells figures, you can absolutely be sure that they’re originals …. this also had to be said … gruuoooummmhuom …

May 15, 2012 at 7:18 am #24146Honestly, I think I have found the secret not to be mad at mithril again and remain passionate and not wanting to give up anything…
when you begin to be fed up with them, and their course of actions and doings… simply make a pause in your dedication to mithril theme altogether and focus upon something else, another hobby or some other important matters… I for once, focus on some games, my baby, cinema etc… still “passively” collecting what mithril and Chris care to provide but without any involvement nor expecting anything from them…
It works… and you grow refreshed for a while…
As I learned, and as Zoetrop may have learned by now too (and I think Theobald too, and many others)… too much dedication and personal involvement in anything related to Mithril and Lars Edman ALWAYS ends up with a lot of frustration and disapointment… I’m very well placed to know it, so why doing this to yourself? …
As a side effect, removing yourself from mithril interest, like I do, can provoke, sometimes, some perplexity and irritation from other persons too, among MMP sometimes too and I apologize for that if sometimes I seem -and actually am- totally OFF any participation in the community
May 15, 2012 at 8:20 am #24147Wise words from a wise elf. It’s always worth taking a step back before making any decisions that, in retrospect, may seem to have been too hasty – and I hope that Master Zoetrop wpon’t find himself regretting his decision before long.
I long ago learnt never to expect too much from anybody, whether people or companies. Otherwise, as you say, Master Gildor, you just end up annoyed, frustrated and disappointed, and life’s too short to cope with too many such disappointments.
May 15, 2012 at 8:54 am #24148An Elf and a barkeeper- both wise men. i took also away my dedication and it seems it could help.
