Blimey, I don’t think there’s ever been a conversation with such long pauses in it!

January 10, 2013 at 6:32 am #26702[mith]PM1[/mith] auction won !

That makes another collection set sculpted by Chris Tubb complete for me.
January 10, 2013 at 6:52 am #26704What’s your next challenge?
January 10, 2013 at 7:47 am #26705Well, I still miss 14 MS, so 1st thing to do will be find more coiny things so that I achieve my Mithril 32mm regular collection!
In parallel I keep watching to find Dwaw of Waw + 5 MW proto I miss (1 half orc + 4 dwarves) and there is also MW337 captain variant…and Grenadier 9803. All these being unfindables, I guess finding any of these are really challenging me
As a friendly Ent told me one day, “Collection is never completely achieved”. And this makes me happy as “finding” is my pleasure in collecting.
January 10, 2013 at 7:56 am #26706Ah yes, coiny things – there are never enough of them, are there? Happily, though, there are more Mithril “Sales” than there used to be, which have helped me catch up a bit in the past year or so; but I shall never have all of the MS range (as may have been noticed by now, I’m not an ICE fan…).
January 10, 2013 at 8:47 am #26708Grat Master hobbit… Your talent as a seeker is really impressive. I’m sure you’ll be able to find everything that you miss in your collection !
January 10, 2013 at 8:49 am #26709Grat ? :lol::lol:

Congratulations, Yves… I hope that someday CT made a recast and I could put my hands on it too.
January 10, 2013 at 11:10 pm #26726Congrats Milo! a great acquisition!
and @Imisel : yes this is planned on the long run… I don’t know when or how, but Chris intends to recast it and improve it a bit… (I don’t know how) but it may be slightly different (just slightly…) than the original
January 11, 2013 at 1:17 pm #26730… [mith]M56[/mith] “Gate Warden At Bree” for 6,25 € (Postage include!)
I’ve loosed some others bids, but I was not at home at the end of the auctions
January 11, 2013 at 1:32 pm #26731Hello, Master Sam Wise. Hope you don’t mind, but simply in the interests of helping people understand the strange foibles of the bizarrely incomprehensible version of Westron as spoken west of the sea, “Loosed” means “let loose”, “let free” (if you “loosed” an arrow it would mean you’d fired it from a bow); the word for missing out on an auction is “Lost” (past tense of “Lose”, with one “o” – yes, I know, confusing, isn’t it?). But either way, your English is at least ten times better than my French. (I wasn’t allowed to take French exams when I was at school because, ahem, I was so bad they didn’t want to waste the money it would cost…)
January 11, 2013 at 1:38 pm #26732Thanks Master Barliman! Sometimes, I do big errors! I try to improve but it’s not perfect !
(Sometimes, I try to speak English with my wife, but she wants always correct my mistakes….
)well… I’ve lost !!!
January 11, 2013 at 1:42 pm #26734This is indeed a very good price for [mith]M56[/mith] ! congrats Master Sam.
