He didn’t sell it. This is too much.
Yet it ‘s a collector who lives not too far from Milo, and that we had bought some of his figures last year :

About the rarity of the M16 and the number of castings compared to other rarities, Master Gildor is right. For example The Man once told me that the Dwar of Waw variant is by far rarer than the M16. – But how could the seller claim that the figure is “in best condition” though it is partly painted? Then, 1000 doubles the highest price ever being payed for an M16. That is two thirds of a CHR1988 or five and a half MX-Ups (Ooops). – Yes, Master Barliman, there seem to be many strange people in this world indeed.

I just had a quick look at the pictures provided by the seller. Indeed, it seems to be a very interesting lot as there are many figures in best condition, as you can see that the parts still are connected by the sprues with the base or the figures. In his short desciption the seller states indirectly that not all figures might include all original parts. – That made me try to compare what he offers with the figures of my collection. Unfortunately the pictures provided on Ebay cannot be enlarged. This is what I think to have found out:
-The spear of the M7-Gondorian seems to be missing
-also the shield of the M154b (Haradan Infantry) seems to be misssing
-It’s the same with Azog’s shield, that I also cannot detect
(both shields were available in one of the “Accessoire-sets” sold by Mithril once)
But, and here I am not sure, it seems that the M10 has its dagger still connected at the right place at the base. (Here I could just guess, because I had to read the shadows in the picture with a magnifying-glass in front of my monitor).
Anyway, I think that’s a very good lot for a decent price, as it includes many rarities in best condition.

If anyone here wins this auction, I would be interrested to trade M5 and M7 with everything attached to its base with mine which are MINT, perfect but with shields & weapons glued. :rolleyes:

It went for 212 EUR, which was far higher than I was willing to bid. So not for me this time.

This is ridiculous…

Whoever Melgil57 is, they’re extremely greedy. The statement that the posdtage is “free” is therefore somewhat ironic.
