April 18, 2014 at 8:31 pm #30322and this guy’s put picture from the “Grandma’s garden” on eBay for advertise figure… interesting… for me…
April 18, 2014 at 8:52 pm #30324I don’t suppose for a moment that he asked for permission….
April 18, 2014 at 11:25 pm #30325That guy don´t use a picture from Grandma´s garden only. He use also a picture from Master Godet´s database.
As far as the Grandma´s garden picture is concerned, I think it is insolent !April 19, 2014 at 8:04 am #30326I do not care for that… he is “midget” ( it is his name on code description ) and midgets are…. anyway…. They do not care about these things … picture is now changed so here is regular picture with black background on site…
April 19, 2014 at 9:10 am #30327I send him via ebay a message, telling him, to use a picture of the item itself (NEW and IN BLISTER) instead of using an unique artwork by a fan- think about copywright.
This was his (translatet) answer: ” Thank you for the hint. Inside google there is no copyright. The pictures which are in there are free. Regards, J . . .Only to let you know . . .
April 19, 2014 at 9:32 am #30328The bloody idiot obviously doesn’t understand copyright laws at all. Perhaps it might be a good idea to deter such thieves by putting a line ‘© [Name]’ alongside all pictures downloaded onto the MMP site in future.
Still, the fact that he changed the picture suggests he knew that he was on shaky ground!
April 19, 2014 at 4:57 pm #30333Er, I also dislike such ignorant idiots, Barliman. So I think what Turambar did was absolutely correct, when he reacted to that.
Thank you, Turambar, for having taken that step.
… and Thingol, it doesn’t mind if you care about such things, or if you don’t. I can well understand your humble exercise of restraint.
Anyway … I have to paint the eggs for tomorrow now … alas …April 19, 2014 at 5:43 pm #30336… better paint eggs than the hair… just kidding… I have many pictures which I do not want to share without copyright… but this is not one of them.. any way our friend Master Turambar is right… this is not first time that I’v found my pictures of Mithril miniatures on eBay auctions… this is good for mithril I guess..
May 9, 2014 at 7:24 am #30423For those with extra amount of money in his wallet….. M16….. but no assault rifle 😎
May 9, 2014 at 1:13 pm #30424Well, the figure inculding the sword seem to be original, though not in best condition. The sword was not properly cut from the sprew as the point of the blade still sticks to the sprew. But that also proves that the sword is original.
Anyway the seller, obviously being honest described the figure as “used”.
I wonder what the end of the auction will tell us about the price.May 18, 2014 at 6:35 pm #30465451 Euros, £367!
Watched the last 2 minutes as I had nothing better to do .

May 21, 2014 at 7:03 pm #30472Hi gentlemen, I am not often around of late but as this is important I rely the information :
if you have heard the news, ebay was cyber attacked (revealed today but the attack was two months ago…) it is strongly recommanded that you change your password, as the database and personnal information was stolen, this includes personal data , not financial ones, but changing password is astrong recommandation (even if the stolen ones were highly hashed and crypted)
Just for you to know….
