Thanks for pics gentlemen. Master ent, I will upload your pics in MMP database if you agree as it clear show how M16 sword should look like.
I do not have my own M16 at home as it is currently is a warm place for a while. But I am also sure the ebay sword is not M16 sword.About the non working ebay, strange, it works on my tablet android…maybe restriction only apply to browser versions?
February 20, 2015 at 9:26 pm #32252Never mind, Master Milo, feel free. Sometimes I just intervene here to try to settle certain things which otherwise would be regarded as being obscure.
… I don’t know anything about those tablet-android-and-browser-things … sorry … did you check the MX436 offer by now?
Alas, I just want to keep you busy, Master Milo…. and, yes, to say it here in public: thank you for all the work you put into MMP … this had to be said. HOOOM !!!
February 20, 2015 at 9:32 pm #32253The link works fine for me on my desktop, though I have an iMac, not a PC. Like the Tree, I have no knowledge of nor use for androids and the like.
February 22, 2015 at 10:45 am #32274Okay, I have opened the package with the miniatures from that seller we are speaking of and one of them was not very correct because it has been painted, stripped (not very well I must say) and then primed again with a similar grey colour to the one that mithril uses (although a bit more satin). This not being said on the announcement. ;_( At least the miniature is or seems an original cast of [mith]M332[/mith]
Also I contact him through ebay to advise him about the sword of the M16 and he told me that the sword was probably not the original one, but as it was the one that he bought it with, that is the one he is selling…. Although he also answered me that, that is the reason why he put the sword upright for it was clearly seen how the sword was… I am sharing this info with you for you all to take your own decisions.
February 25, 2015 at 9:31 am #32287Nice lot of MIB mini from U.K:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/191520403658February 25, 2015 at 11:13 am #32288Really nice set, indeed!
February 25, 2015 at 12:06 pm #32289As you say, very nice. There’s a couple there that I don’t have, but alas, I don’t have any money either. Isn’t it always the way?
February 27, 2015 at 11:39 am #32292Look great and I miss 4 of them in MIB. My birthday gift some month in advance or maybe Easter gift )
February 27, 2015 at 1:37 pm #32293The Spanish seller also sells Brodda the Easterling, but I wonder what happened with this figure. Looks like it has been lying on a highway for a period. And why do his Mithril figures all have a green colour ?
February 27, 2015 at 11:29 pm #32294Hi Milo, I just witnessed that you placed one of my pics concerning that M16-Lady in the database. I think it well proves how the sword was casted to the base. You can also guess that on the top right in the original picture provided by Mithril in an old flyer.
Alas, I wonder how many of those Ladies are still in that original condition. Can’t be many, right?February 28, 2015 at 9:53 am #32295Hi Master Ent,
You are right, there must be very few M16 with sword attached to its base.
I know for sure another one exist as one GF member has a M16 in blister .
I hope to obtain a picture of it for MMP database & wiki. It might be the only remaining MIB M16 in the world….March 10, 2015 at 10:42 pm #32341March 10, 2015 at 11:25 pm #32342Oh, the first time I see an MX-UP (in blister, so to say) in an auction. – – – That really is very interesting and I wonder what the price will be in the end as the seller obviously chose a low starting price for that auction.
March 11, 2015 at 7:48 am #32343I will follow this auction for sure. Thanks for the link.

March 15, 2015 at 11:56 am #32351Hi Master Isildur. I never met you before as I joined MMP after your last post (in 2008 !). I hope you do not give up mithrils.
Auction is 122€ so far, with 3 days to go.
March 15, 2015 at 5:59 pm #32352122€ for an MX-UP, that’s still below the selling price by Mithril, right? oO
March 15, 2015 at 6:27 pm #32353It was sold 180€…
March 15, 2015 at 11:25 pm #32354Well, just have a look at the prices of old regular M-series releases achieved on ebay in recent years. Very often the figures are sold below the “old” price. This development is keeping on, as far as I can see. Isn’t it also a prove for the declining interest in Mithril figures in general? – Sorry, but I’m afraid these are the facts. But if you want to see the positive side of it, that means it’s better for new collectors.
