It’s obviously a recast or home-cast figure – the changed shape of the base, the shiny finish and the lack of Mithril grey paint all confirm this.
May 15, 2015 at 1:44 pm #32634Whatever it is, it definitely not the M69 Sivan Seer as announced. The quality of the figure is extremely poor.
May 16, 2015 at 5:08 pm #32636This seller from spain often does conversions. He might have repaired the base…
Anyway, if anyone need a nice [mith]M69[/mith], I think I have several MINT ones to trade.August 4, 2015 at 10:49 pm #32807It’s been a while since no ebay links was provided. I will try to put more often while I look after selling prices for my estimates recording.
Many mithrils have been sold in july, which means many records to add…
August 5, 2015 at 7:48 am #32810This is a nice set of vintage rohan riders.
some horses are not original pones but still the lot is a good one.
August 5, 2015 at 12:14 pm #32815There are also some nice, old Mithrils offered by a seller from the Netherlands and I thing there will be more to come.
August 5, 2015 at 1:12 pm #32816August 5, 2015 at 10:39 pm #32822Thank you Milo, I forgot to add the link. – And, as I said, I’m sure there will be more offers to come.
August 25, 2015 at 10:01 pm #32946I think for those who are still looking for some “old” Mithrils for a fair price (if there are any left), I think the offers by the seller from The Netherlands I leately referred to might still be interesting.
Our dear Master Milo seems to be facing a lot of work in re-calculating all the avarage prices I’m afraid …
August 26, 2015 at 9:07 am #32948and at least within EU, we are not subject to taxes…
My last Mithril ebay purchase from US cost me twice after customsAugust 26, 2015 at 5:33 pm #32949Theobald wrote:Our dear Master Milo seems to be facing a lot of work in re-calculating all the avarage prices I’m afraid …Indeed master Ent.
August 26, 2015 at 9:46 pm #32951Indeed, Mornedhel, I had to face some similar experiences with customs-offices also here and not only once. Though in my case the parcels were clearly certified as gifts, which even made it worse, I think. – So you’re right saying that anyone buying (or even receiving) items from outside the EU, esp. from the USA, should be aware of this.
August 26, 2015 at 9:51 pm #32952Ah, dear Milo, I’m sure you can cope with all that. Just take your time and don’t haste. Don’t forget that it’s still holiday-time, so there are more serious things to take care of.

My last Mithril ebay purchase from US cost me twice after customsIn France customs for non EU are applied when expense is higher than 45euros. So when I spend more, I ask seller to declare lower value and it works, only if seller agrees with this work around.
August 27, 2015 at 6:47 pm #32962Thanks for the tip Milo
September 11, 2015 at 5:20 pm #33005It seems another collection is on ebay…
September 13, 2015 at 6:31 pm #33009[mith]M16[/mith] complete and in good condition, except painting ! http://www.ebay.com/itm/281796285694
September 13, 2015 at 10:06 pm #33010Sorry, but I wouldn’t call it being “in good condition”. The surface of the figure seems to be smeared with colour or glue all over. I wonder if that can be removed without damaging the metal. The sword could be original, though it cannot clearly be seen in the picture.
September 14, 2015 at 6:06 am #33011I agree mini is spreaded by stuff to be removed.
Still, metal is not affected and might have been protected towards years by that thickness of paint.
I have no doubt it can be removed properly and you can obtain a very nice mini at the end.:cool:September 14, 2015 at 8:13 pm #33020Picture is very bad… so it is not possible to be sure in which condition is figure…. expensive it is…anyway
