October 4, 2015 at 5:28 am #33145Very well spoted David. A gondor captain variant is very hard to find. I think it is the last OOP mini which joined my collection.
And the price is also very attractive…so far :rolleyes:October 4, 2015 at 6:36 am #33146Went for a surprisingly low price – $50 (just one bid)! Cheapest warband sale I’ve seen, I think.

October 4, 2015 at 9:10 am #33148Ditto!
October 4, 2015 at 9:20 am #33149Well, the box is not provided, and 4 minis are missing. So having [mith]mw337[/mith] soldiers for this price is good, and fair.
But you are right, it is the cheapest sold on ebay in past 5 years.October 8, 2015 at 5:50 pm #33172eBay item number: 401005557220. Interesting auction which I guess is a conversion (though not stated) of the troll with morning star (I think).
UNLESS ……….
…… It is a rare variant!!! 😆
October 8, 2015 at 5:56 pm #33173No, that’s never the way Chris would have rendered an axe – it’s way too “Gothic” – besides which there seems to be a join visible just in front of his left thumb.
October 8, 2015 at 6:35 pm #33174I like this conversion. I miay have a go on it but not too high.
October 16, 2015 at 7:21 am #33208Wonderfull MINT M78 Razarac here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MITHRIL-MINIATURES-M78-FAR-HARAD-THE-RAZARAC-GARGOYLE-RARE-LOTR-LORD-OF-RINGS-/161859134846

October 24, 2015 at 1:43 pm #33236anybody else bidding on it, just so we avoid bidding wars? thanks!
October 24, 2015 at 1:55 pm #33237Never understood the appeal of the Razarac figure. I gave away the one I had to one of my regulars, quite a few years ago.
October 24, 2015 at 5:18 pm #33238Sorry master cameosis, I did put a bid this morning. My mistake. I will not bid further.
In case I win with low bid, mini will be yours.
But I suggest you over bid me, last razarac was sold for around 50euros.October 25, 2015 at 5:00 pm #33239Barliman wrote:Never understood the appeal of the Razarac figure. October 25, 2015 at 7:35 pm #33240and € 50 it is — expensive, but i can put up my other razarač for sale, the one without the index finger.
October 26, 2015 at 10:14 am #33241Good catch !
October 27, 2015 at 9:46 pm #33242Here’s a bargain, but best hurry as I’m sure it will be snapped up!!!!!
eBay item number: 301776410624
October 27, 2015 at 9:51 pm #33243A bargain? £999? Well, it may be if you have a thousand quid to spare, and if you don’t happen to already have many of these figures. Personally I doubt that anyone will buy them at that price.
October 27, 2015 at 11:47 pm #33244I suppose this is sarcastic master daines
sorry but I don’t see where the bargain is considering all those figurines are worthless in terms of collectible (transformed slotta base, and painted, which reduces their collectible value by more than 80%, the painting is frankly poor (lacking shades and lights, wrong colors (saruman the blue? ), too plain colors and i don’t see any of the top five rarest mithril in the lot… no m16 no m78, no m10, no M7, no camel rider, mostly Turin series, and some Isengard which are not rare at all
I’d say the lot is worth 30 or 40€… and completly worthless for a collector.
Oh and by the way, hi again everybody… I was quite away of late, quite busy for real life and job matters… and not really finished yet alas
I’ll join you for a pint in the poney though
