Some people just can’t wait….February 24, 2010 at 12:10 pm #8915I dont know what could I say….. then this looks like bad luck….
February 24, 2010 at 5:18 pm #8918ATTENZIONE PREGO !!! Nino you understand these few italian words I know. This Whitch King is too expensive, mind this. I get my edition last summer for 20,54€.
Think it over . . . It is not THAT marvellous, a bit “flat” I would say. . .February 24, 2010 at 5:55 pm #8924Nino, have you ask Michael about this figure? I obtained my figure one year ago (more or less)directly of Mithril’s web. Due to the demand of several members of the GF, Mithril was offering someone that had in stock to 5 €.

February 28, 2010 at 12:35 am #8941There’s not a lot of time left, but in case someone still needs a couple Salute figs:
March 2, 2010 at 3:33 pm #8974I’ve just seen that obviously another batch of PM2s is being offered. Is it the third batch of 20 figures each? Did anyone keep record?
The good old Prancing Pony figures are also again on Ebay at the moment – though there’s one mistake among those offers, as clearly M39 and M41 were never part of the PPony series as “onlookers”March 2, 2010 at 10:32 pm #8983I heard there is quite a BUNCH of those PM2… I even have their background now and the reason behind their sculpting…
Though indeed for copyright and license purpose this figurine could not be named… the main idea behind it was, it seems, what I had guessed earlier…. an elf maiden… dancing in the forest… see what I mean? well it was intended to be “her”…
I should have news about the PM3… (creator and destroyer of dwarves) early next week !
March 4, 2010 at 10:15 pm #9006I just came across this one with 6 left in the auction (5 now!). I think it is a beautiful figure by Chris, and who knows who will be watching – watch this space
March 5, 2010 at 1:07 pm #9012(it seems some castings have a default with the front part of the drape) I don’t know if this can be called a “variant” but the Man warned me some castings had had a problem, and in SOME cases, (two or three) the drape did not reach lower enough toward the base…
I could actually see the problem since mine … had the “problem”…
March 5, 2010 at 1:51 pm #9014Master Gildor, you can’t call this a variant. My girl had the same “short” veil and I call this a incomplete cast not a variant. It’s a fault and normally these minis go back in the melting pot. If you have a closer look you can see the difference in the surface of the metal where the cast is incomplete and it doesn’t matter how good the mouldmaker is, if you cast figures, there are always some with a fault.
March 5, 2010 at 1:58 pm #9015I also received that note, Gildor. When I checked my miniature, well, it could be that the drape at the front might be two or three mm too short. But, to be honest, I don’t mind. To witness that very slight difference you have to know about it.
A variant? No, not at all, I think.March 5, 2010 at 11:55 pm #9016May I tell you, that the drape of my edition is , well, not too short, it is too long . . . in the front part of the figure . . . 😆
. . . what did the Innkeeper put in my hump . . .
March 6, 2010 at 3:40 am #9017The “drape” of your edition Master Archer?? Are you talking about yourself?:lol::lol::lol:
March 6, 2010 at 6:59 am #9018I’m more concerned by what Master Archer’s “hump” might be!
March 6, 2010 at 7:56 am #9019We might never find out…….
March 6, 2010 at 9:12 am #9020Huooommmmrhuoommm … this is why I do like this place …. huoommhuom … serious talks about humps, umbrellas, drapes, etc. … huoomm … and all these major matters being enriched with facts and rumours … rhuooommm … but I have to leaf now, because them smelly, trodden, dusty, awful-looking, rotten, miserable, grey wargskins are in need of being cleaned by me outside these premises …. rhuoomm …
