Huoommmrhuoommm … as I said I did not take part in that mess … huommm … and I definitely did not sent any photo to that who-is-who-whatever-that-is either … huommm … to suggest having aided a Roman weilding an axe (weird idea that it is – both – as Roman infantry did not use axes in battle, unless they tried to fell trees, which does not make any sense in a battle) …. rhuuooommmm …. please, believe me, that in the pic isn’t me, tree …. huom

March 14, 2010 at 9:45 pm #9115Very very nice picture indeed. With this flowers . . .very nice.
Just returned from Bruxelles and my mind is still filled with this Art Nouveau stuff. Remarkable this is !!!!
But this fact about this picture seems a little bit mysterious . . .March 15, 2010 at 6:16 pm #9116Thingol wrote:picture for all of us who did not buy this magnificent elegant figure…. it’s still on eBay….[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/547_pm2.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/547_pm2.jpg[/imgz]
Veeeeerrrrrry nice , and very quick off the mark Master Thingol. I personally like this figure a lot, but I have only got as far as an undercoat.
March 16, 2010 at 3:34 pm #9118Ahhh just this moment Malbeth the Seer has been bought at an auction on german ebay for 8.37β¬ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! π π π
I will buy him at mithril directly and pay nearly the half less . . .March 16, 2010 at 5:19 pm #9119that’s what I call “unlucky auction”… again… but important is that you have this bishop statue in you collection…. π
March 16, 2010 at 7:28 pm #9123Huoommmm … ‘unlucky auctions’ there are … but you will have forgotten about them before the next solstice, I think … so what is luck ? … rhuoommm …
March 17, 2010 at 10:45 am #9136I often wonder why people pay over the odds for Mithrils that are still available. Perhaps they don’t know the company is still in business? – which brings us back to Mithril’s depressingly low profile in figure-marketing terms.
March 20, 2010 at 8:44 pm #9149Seems that I do not need to forward the “dancing elven lady” with the fellowship again. Better yet, PM2 is roughly half of what the fellowship would cost, so I got myself two. Now to replace that bun with some real hair…
March 23, 2010 at 2:02 pm #9151I hope that these miniatures are “original” ones . . .
Further juicy thoughts . . .March 23, 2010 at 2:13 pm #9152Original or not they are in this case….to expensive… !
March 23, 2010 at 5:27 pm #9155I think you can rely upon the fact that the figures provided by the seller are original ones. He’s one of the guys who buys more than one set of very rare figures, such as the dwarves or some of that Saruman’s Army, on the other hand he has quite some stock of other rarities …
That’s what I know. The prices are high indeed, as always his prices for rare Mithrils have been.March 23, 2010 at 7:49 pm #9159On the other hand, have you not found that Ebay prices of Mithril figures are lowest lately? It recently sold a complete set of the serie of the Prancing Pony for just over 12 euros. And I think that was almost complete …. And other vintage figures by about 5-6 euros …
