The M7 has always been an expensive piece of metal as it is quite rare.
April 8, 2010 at 1:32 pm #9354I noticed in faerylands database that it is estimated 108€…
Let’s see how much the winner will pay.April 8, 2010 at 2:44 pm #9361108€ ?! For the M 007 ?!
Ah ha . . .PS: I gave it away six years or so for 10 € . . . . . .
April 8, 2010 at 2:54 pm #9362Don’t you have any other M07 to give away for a Hobbit ?
P.S: I added my needs inside the crossroads of esgaroth
April 8, 2010 at 4:39 pm #9365You know what Master Gildor’s Database here is for, Master Rita.de? It’s always worth to have a look at it sometimes.
April 8, 2010 at 6:25 pm #9366M7 is supposed to be the rarest figurine after M16 and M10, in the whole mithril range. My prices tend to reflect the average prices given by Zoetrop who made stats on average prices seen on ebay for 5 years for each figurine. So yes, as of 2009 (not yet updated to 2010) the average price for a M7 sold on ebay… is around 110€…
April 8, 2010 at 8:22 pm #9368I think that prices have fallen enough lately. Is it because of the ´crisis`?
Although, of course, this is a figure in blister …April 8, 2010 at 9:00 pm #9370. . . . . . . .
April 8, 2010 at 10:30 pm #9373Prices for Mithrils have declined on Ebay somehow within the last one or two years, that’s correct, Master Erchamion. But that also makes some of them pieces more affordable for collectors, doesn’t it?
But who’s or what is it you call “crisis”? In case you can get hold of it, send it here please … so I will try to deal with it. RhuoommmAnd as for you, Master Gildor, I think you estimated wisely concerning that M7-metal-thing. But I can confirm, that Master Zoetrop still keeps up in checking those coiny-matters. The problem about a new update for 2010 simply is that the year has not ended, as far as I know.
April 9, 2010 at 2:23 am #9376I suspect he means the global financial crisis. Bit harder to go wild on ebay if one’s bank is breathing down your neck.
But I also suspect that the relative success of the secondary market has resulted in people finding them in their attics and going: hey, I can make some money here.
April 9, 2010 at 8:02 am #9380Indeed, as the Master Gavin, I mean the economic crisis.
In some countries, like his Master Tree, is exceeded, but in Spain unemployment reached almost 20%.
People have no money for a hobby (or was ´hobbit`)April 9, 2010 at 8:52 am #9381well for 2010 i mean 2009, though master zoetrop did indeed sent me the excel version of his pricelist but mea culpa I did not find enough time to update my database in quite a while (babies take so much time )
anyway, I don’t know if many M7 have been sold during year 2009, and if none have been sold or sold at a lesser than average price, well the average price remains the same for year 2009, isn’t it?
April 9, 2010 at 11:34 am #9382I found some dragons not expensive yet: MB 358 & MB 369 here

April 11, 2010 at 10:08 am #9386Very interresting Master Zoetrop !
This time, M07 in Blister was sold for 69,00 GBP (78,79 EUR).
So I think I might wait a bit and get one half this price !April 11, 2010 at 1:22 pm #9387I just saw that on Ebay someone from the Netherlands offers two sets of the old “Tale of Turin” and the “Black Sword” series. Though they’re all out of blister all figures seem to be complete and in fine condition. There are some rarities among them.
As for you, Master Gildor, the seller also provides pics of the old Mithril leaflets when you have a closer look at the site where the offers are placed.
I think this might be interesting for some of you who do not own those series.April 11, 2010 at 10:13 pm #9389These two sets- which I personally admire very much- has been sold by PA directly couple of months ago . . . at normal conditions . . .
These leaflets are very interesting.April 12, 2010 at 11:17 am #9393well those leaflets are not rare, or are they? I have one or two sets of each of them. My pics are often taken from them but maybe I reworked t hem to have a better black background . it seems that i forgot to upload the picture for Orodreth (m239) though… I have it , I have to remember to put it online…
anyway, I was quite amazed to see that IN ebay, the seller quotes THIS site as a reference for the figurines… (and their price)
April 16, 2010 at 8:28 pm #9491Item number: 250616025808 on French eBay… so for all who still does not have this figure M10
