Ebay is very strange with respect to bidder privacy: you can now, ex post, ascertain the exact maximum bids for Dwar, even if you are not logged in. And the maximum willingness to pay was (tadadaa!) : Bidder k***a Cancelled: GBP 300.00.

Wow!

(Same bidder has the current lead on M16.)

…for this M140 just wait till the end 10 seconds and put more than half of the last seen price on auction and you will win for sure… this is efficient tactics… of course if you are ready to risk and invest

Now this is strange … I just received an update of “my favourite seller” on Ebay. That Dwar is listed there with 93.00 GBP at the moment. To me all this is a bit confusing.

Sorry, I wasn’t able to copy the pictures, too. Anyway here you can see that the highest bid for that Dwar is 93,00 GBP this morning and auction will end on July 4th (today) at 19.00.40 MESZ. So, that’s all I know.
Definitely something went wrong with the auction on Ebay.

Chris took the auction of. I was watching it and so it is still visible as ended. (by seller)
You might still see it on the Mithril website because of the not dynamic thing Master Gildor is talking about.

Sorry, but I just tried to pass on information I received. – By now I’ve checked everything on Ebay and it’s clear that this Dwar of Waw disappeared. Though I don’t know why. To me that is extremely strange. Why did The Man take back his offer before the auction ended?
As for the Lady … it seems there will be a new record … that’s amazing.

Perhaps Chris realized that by having three rare mini’s on auction at once, the M7, M16 and DoW, he was splitting the pool of bidders up and possibly lowering the prices each might fetch individually. So end two of them and re-list later. Very savvy, and I don’t begrudge him the opportunity to make as much money off each one as possible. Or it may be as simple as others stated, he might not have as many to sell as he thought!

Yes, Presto, that is what I wondered about. Offering 3 extremely rare miniatures at the same time (in the very best condition) is more than strange (economically). M7 and the Dwar were cancelled when both reached about 100 GBP. So, let’s see what the Lady is worth by now.
I’m sure that Master Tubb is very much aware of the number of figures he offers on Ebay.

Dwar of Waw will never re-appaer on Ebay. It all is about what is called “piracy”. I’m sure it was the last time you saw him. This fate might also be shared with some other miniatures we don’t even know of. – I cannot give away details. Sorry.
