If a UK-only sale should come up again, I’d be happy to bid for you.
April 6, 2011 at 11:39 pm #16587ah, now i get it, it was a typo.
yes, there are many strange reasons why people do not allow international bidding — most often u.s. and some u.k. sellers.April 7, 2011 at 9:15 am #16590[mith]M43[/mith], [mith]M68[/mith], [mith]M95[/mith] & more by the camel seller. Ask Him to open his auctions to non uk sellers first !
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/kimj8181/m.htmlApril 7, 2011 at 11:43 am #16595Well, C. T. auctions are starting to come wild… I’m almost reaching my top bid so I think that I won’t get m93 and others this time neither
April 7, 2011 at 12:59 pm #16600well, M99 is quite a rare and very original release , it’s among the ten rarest figurines of the range after M73 and M78 I think (themselves beling after M16 M10 and M7)
not counting the smeagol and deagol boat which has no base… I think M99 is the first vignette in Mithril range…Edit : yes, the database confirmed it : it’s the first vignette ever produced…
April 7, 2011 at 1:11 pm #16601M23 Grenadier LOL Should be something for Master cameosis!

April 7, 2011 at 1:31 pm #16607Right… There we go and i guess something had unplugged my connection. 😆
April 7, 2011 at 1:37 pm #16608Sorry, but I have to correct our Elf. What can be called “a first vignette” in the old M-range to me definitely is M64 (Queen Arhendhihil & two maids). The first time 3 figures were placed on a base in that range. – Of course M83 (Smeagol & Deagol) is not a vignette, as there is no base, so here our dear Elf is right. Also with the statement that the M99 (Karagat, the High Priest) is one of the rarest.
April 7, 2011 at 3:31 pm #16610mmhh you are right master ent about M64… though for a strange reason I did not count it “vignett” but “multi-character” because it was not the “capture” of a scene or “act”… like M99 is… that must be why…
though if we are to qualify vignettes by their complexity, M64 is more delicate and complex to assemble and paint correctly than M99 is…
anyway… i’m off topic again
April 7, 2011 at 4:03 pm #16611thank you, Gildor … I feel the same about that M64. That’s why I never tried to paint it.
