Last time were many problems and discussions around this D O W figure… I hope this time auction will reach its end ! I’ll put it on my watch list….
April 14, 2011 at 10:07 am #16798problems about casting numbers only exist for “old figurines”… I’d say prior to the release of LR series…
some prototypes and rarities exist in small numbers but it is too old to remember how many… even for CT… even some references, he forgot he had even MADE them…that’s the case for the Chr1989 for which he can’t remember and alas I cannot be of great help at the moment… and it’s also the case for this soon to be announced rarity I am talking about…
April 15, 2011 at 4:34 pm #16831The Man by now is offering some more rare figures. Good thing is, that when you buy those, you can be sure to receive the figures in best quality and condition.
At the moment that “Dwar of Waw” seems to have started concerning the price. I wonder what the final price will be after another 5 days.
Anyway, “happy bidding” for those figures. I won’t take part in it.April 15, 2011 at 4:43 pm #16832Oh, by the by, you can see some pics of the “Dwar of Waw” in the “Mathom House of Michael Delving” here on this site. A very nice figure, I think. Chris told me once that he likes this version much better than the one which was released in the LR-series. – I do agree.
April 15, 2011 at 11:19 pm #16833Me three . . .
April 16, 2011 at 9:55 am #16836Wow! Thanks for the highlight
I’ll bid for some of the early range: M4, M6 and M9
Please don’t bid on those, make a poor boy happy

The Dwar of daw is 112GBP with 2 days left ! :rolleyes:April 18, 2011 at 12:10 pm #16886Ouch.
April 18, 2011 at 2:08 pm #16887Err … what did you expect, Master Milo? – Did you think that this figure would come across as a bargain? Compared with a last M16 offered by The Man some years ago a hundred and twelve GBP is not that much. – I rather guess that the Dwar will end up in, let’s say, 300.
April 18, 2011 at 2:14 pm #16888I remember one Dwar of Daw last year which did not exceed much more than a hundred, so I was hoping…
Maybe the crisis is behind mithril fans ?April 18, 2011 at 2:33 pm #16893Milo wrote:I’ve been outbid and will stop (maybe the man will propose 2nd chance offer ?).
The Dwar of daw is 112GBP with 2 days left ! :rolleyes:Hot amount for sure….
April 18, 2011 at 4:52 pm #16899I don’t think this one may go above 300£ because there are not as many people informed about its existence as there are about the M16 and also because the crisis is not so far behind us…
but who may know? I think it may go over 200 though…
I’ll have a price to display to it in the database now, at least : ) [mith]32Proto1[/mith]
one must remember that the “Unfindable rarity” in my database is supposed to be the hardest figurines to find… M16 is not classified in this range it is “only” extremly rareApril 18, 2011 at 9:57 pm #16917Maybe it would be useful to read a passage in the right place of The Mathom House . . .
You find also other pictures of that figure provided by Master Theobald years ago.April 18, 2011 at 10:29 pm #16919I knowI know
but I did not take several of the same one, unpainted that would be redundant in the database, it is also in the gallery
April 18, 2011 at 11:20 pm #16927Why hassle about this? – I do not paint rarities in my collection at all, I wouldn’t dare.
Many of the pics in the “Gallery” and that “Mathom House” I took. You can clearly distinguish them with the same background- colours.
As for the “Dwar of Waw” i was so very much stunned to hold that figure in my hands. It took me about a week to decide if to cut the arm and assemble, or rather keep it in the condition I received it. I then decided to cut and assemble, as pieces from a mould are meant to be assembled. At least that’s what I think. – Rarities … some.
Yes, there’s the first version of the standard-bearer Mw346 set being found somewhere …
… good n8t …April 19, 2011 at 6:14 am #16929There was a first version?

April 19, 2011 at 9:02 am #16932Er, I don’t understand what’s funny…
April 19, 2011 at 9:06 am #16934:rolleyes: me too… but it could or it should be funny….
April 19, 2011 at 9:11 am #16936I think we need the Tree’s input here – what was this “first version” thast you speak of, Master Tree?
