Dear Master Ent, did you buy this from Time Machine?
Happy New Year to all!
January 1, 2010 at 2:29 pm #8543This one cannot be bought, Master Twrich, as it is an original piece … again, it is a gift and I’m about to finish that adding four oxen and priming and … alas, it’s take some time …. anyway
I also wish everybody a Happy New Year !
January 4, 2010 at 5:17 pm #8550Back in the real world again, there is a lot to recognize here.
Well, Master Theobald, this oxen thing is absolutely terrific! What a fantastic piece of uniqueness. AND: what a fantastic idea!
Wow, wow wow (please, do not compare me with these little animals who make similar sounds . . . )
Let´s wait- patiently- for whatever you will make with it.
Finally let me say, I LOVE these “workbench-pictures”. I mentioned it somewhere, sometime that those workbench-pics tell so many things.
For example, that you prefer the same superglue as I do !
Concerning the re-issue I think this a welcomed present for us and the fact that they are signed with “The Man”- well, what can I say:
Ingenious !January 4, 2010 at 10:50 pm #8552Huoommm … that thing has not been finished by now … sorry
I also announced to close this thread … but to be honest, I forgot. I will keep it open until the “set” is finished and pics are taken – rhuoommmm … I just wanted to give a poor impression of what it’s about … rhuoomm … so please be patient for a while … I will manage that “Fire Wagon” … huoommmtidooommm …
concerning what you, Master Rita.de, called the re-issue of them ladies, I have to tell that they’re casted in resin, not metal – but the quality is extremely good … huoomm …. indeed
… and for sure it’s not piracy … rhuoommmhuommhommmmJanuary 4, 2010 at 11:51 pm #8557huoommm …I just found one of the pics of Mistress Shaaranon … I do hope Master Corless and Master Townsend (who painted that vignette) will forgive me for publishing it here … huoomm…
we’ll see … huommhoommm … it’s called FS1 which of course means ‘Fantansy Series’ 1[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_2009-ncmss-0220-exhibitarea.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_2009-ncmss-0220-exhibitarea.jpg[/imgz]
it’s called ‘Sacrifice’
Then FS 2 (Princess Achmiri) has already been casted as “Passion” – I have those three figures here … they’re wonderful …
Oh well, I’m sure the ‘Water Nymphs’ will follow.
Rhuooommmhuoommm … that’s all I can tell at the moment …January 5, 2010 at 6:42 pm #8560Phew, it is getting hot in here, innit? And neither the fire of Orthanc nor Barliman’s brew seem to be the cause …
January 5, 2010 at 7:37 pm #8562Those guys are very good painters… masters… for painting fantasy girls…
January 16, 2010 at 3:31 pm #8597Rhuoommm … I’m about finishing them “Fire of Orthanc” by now … the major problem was teh primer … alas … and the tractor-system … anyway … I had to do it as it once again is part of Mithril history … gruuoommmhuommmhomm
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_fire_wagon_5.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_fire_wagon_5.jpg[/imgz]
[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/9_fire_wagon_1.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/9_fire_wagon_1.jpg[/imgz]
…alas, I know what this piece is about … I just want to give you an impression of what it is … once I finished this one I will tell which of Mithril conversions were used for this … alas … that’s a hard one one …. as for now, keep fingers crossed that the sun will shine tomorrow, so I could take better pics …

January 16, 2010 at 5:16 pm #8598What a cool idea! Can I post it in some selected forums? If so, who should be credited for this marble?
January 16, 2010 at 5:48 pm #8599it looks very interesting those bullocks are really great. It would be nice to see this full painted… with some barbaric surroundings…. see my new topic from grandma’s today….
January 16, 2010 at 6:49 pm #8601rhuoomm .. just be patient until there’s some sun again to take pics …
ahem, by the by, Master Thingol, …. this will never been painted … as it is another part of what I call Mithril -history … rhuoommmmmhuoommm … so I would never dare to spoil that piece with my poor abilities in painting … rhuoomm … but just for a laugh … can you guess about the figures and parts? … all of them figures are `conversions’ of Mithril-figures … not the wagon, of course … anyway … I can provide more details about this piece …. huooommmm … huomJanuary 16, 2010 at 7:30 pm #8603I would like to see all details of this master piece huommmmmmm….. with those Mithril conversions too….
January 16, 2010 at 9:35 pm #8604You will, Master Thingol … but I cannot haste …. rhuooomm… huom … hom …
January 16, 2010 at 10:29 pm #8606For those *hasty people* such myself, who feel the urgent need to make their own version, I’ve found a similar wagon, oxes and barrels in Mirliton Link (just share all the 5 pages of Medieval accessories).
January 16, 2010 at 11:24 pm #8607You told, all are conversions of mithril figures instead of the waggon, Master Theobald . . . What about the four oxen?!
Where are they from. I suppose also NOT from mithril itself . . .
Wonderful piece, as I told before Master Tree!January 17, 2010 at 10:07 am #8610Well, the wagon and the oxen are from ‘Redoubt Miniatures’. The two barrels are the larger ones from the M134 (Laketown Raftelves- vignette), the officer is M39 (Cardolanion Hir), the orcs are the M101 (orc serfs) added with the whips from M94b (Uruk-Hai royal guards), the banners are based on MM180 (Half-orc captain), the shields are from M179 (Half-orcs [Peych]), the guard is M182 (mannish captain of Orthanc) with the head of M177 (Dunlending) with that there has been a sword attached in the empty sheath and the lance is added.
I added the harness of a roman tractor-system to four oxen, though originally that piece was used only with two oxen and the front axis of the cart could be moved. The original base is not available any more as the mould ripped and is no longer available to use.
When I said ‘originally’ that means that this piece was used (without all those details) in the “Helm’s Deep Game” in the USA in 2002. With that the idea was also to work as advertising the Mithril figures. This is why I called this piece a part of Mithril-history.
This will never be sold or offered to purchase, as the one who casted this said “I cannot sell them as I do not want to profiteer on fake Mithrils.”
That was the same with the “Dunlending Chariot”.
So, this is all I can tell at the moment.
Still I hope to find some time to take better pictures.January 17, 2010 at 2:18 pm #8618Very nice looking piece Master Ent.
January 17, 2010 at 7:54 pm #8625Now we need only the pictures with larger details focused on it….
January 17, 2010 at 11:35 pm #8629yes, yes, yes … rhuoommm … all you’ve learned in the last two years is how to keep a tree busy … huoommm … but I don’t mind … not at all … just try to find some time … rhuoomm … where did I put my time ? … alas … it’s not under my desk … rhuoommm … not in the living-room either … gruuhuommhomm … might be well-hidden my time … alas .. hom!!! … but I’m sure to find at least parts of it elsewhere … hoommm … there must be time somewhere … I’m sure to find some splatters of that time in the bedroom …. rhuoommmhuoomhommhommm
January 18, 2010 at 6:34 am #8630Try to look into your pocket, a bit of time is always hidden there 😆
