Hi all,
it seems “the Sacrifice” (a 54mm vignette made by Nr. Tubb for Grenadier back in the 90’s) would be available again via Time Machine Miniatures. More info here

May 7, 2010 at 9:43 am #9848I heard an elf talking about them yes…
… it is the first of a series of 3 54mm female vignette from Grenadier. You can find pictures for all of them in Mithril Gallery “Uniques” and a topic exists for them too…
Theobald also linked the info about Time Machines having aquired this licence… I know Jim wanted to get this licence to produce them for a while! it was owned by an italian company… (after the demise of Grenadier)May 7, 2010 at 9:51 am #9849Well, I own two of the three vignettes since last autumn. They really are very nice with all the details. The castings are very good. The only problem is coating the smooth resin surface.
May 7, 2010 at 9:59 am #9851The place about these vignettes in here is called:
Mathoms from Grenadier
May 7, 2010 at 10:33 am #9852OOps! Sorry!
May 7, 2010 at 11:27 am #9853You couldn’t know, as the name of the thread does not reveil what it is about
So, no reason for any excuse, Master Arthadan.May 7, 2010 at 11:42 am #9856Very nice indeed. I regret it’s 54mm… (I only work on 32mm)
May 7, 2010 at 1:17 pm #9863more pics there : http://mithril.faerylands.eu/galleries/album.php?id_album=29&stat=ok (the original ones being in metal)
May 8, 2010 at 12:21 am #9869It’s worth noting that these are in ‘true 54’ which is a bit finer and accurate in scale than many historical mini offerings. This is true of the other sculpts for Time Machine that the man has done…and not to ‘toot my own horn’, but I posted some painted versions of these some time ago, right here in this gallery. I see these on eBay from time to time…
May 8, 2010 at 9:49 am #9870I know about the pics you posted here, Master Kenakko, and again I would like to thank you for having done that.
That’s why I tried to tell that all about this matter was so far provided here, in The Mathom House’ in a thread called “Mathoms from Grenadier”.
Yesterday I unsuccessfully tried to combine these two threads … I’m not an expert in these matters, so I failed. Sorry. 😡October 31, 2010 at 12:33 pm #12730Those “Water Nymphs” (54mm) are available as the last of the 3 old vignettes by Chris Tubb which Time Machine sells in a resin-recast. The 3 vignettes are called FS, which means Fantasy Series.
FS1 is the old “Princess Shaaranon” now called “Sacrifice”
FS2 is the old “Princess Achmiri” now called “Passion”
FS3 is the old “Water nymphs” now called “Purity”I know that this just concerns some stubborn collectors. But I just want to keep record about these matters anyway.
October 31, 2010 at 1:29 pm #12731do you have the link to the time machine site to order them? I’m curious to know their price
Maybe I could buy these “remakes” to paint them and keep my originals safely unpainted

have fun browsing…Sacrifice FS-1
The first in a three part set of fantasy vignettes, Sacrifice depicts and explores the mystery of human magic and sacrifice. Here the elegant and alluring beauty of the feminine form is captured in a stunning composition.
54mm Resin Kit with scenic base
$40.00FS-2
$40.00
The second set in our Fantasy Series is “Passion”.
In this carefully crafted amorous vignette, Passion takes the form of a suitor bearing the gift of the red rose, the color of Passion. Beautiful lines, elegant curves, delicate femininity, strong humble masculinity and sensual beauty are all fused in this masterpiece.FS-3 Purity
$30.00
This will be the final part of a three vignette series and is known as Purity. The other two vignettes are called “Sacrifice” and “Passion”.
If you want to see how this carefully crafted vignette was painted, Purity Vignette (Click Here).October 31, 2010 at 2:19 pm #12733Yes.
I told about a year ago that TimeMachine got the license from The Man to produce those 3 vignettes. The last was “Purity” this year. And of course, that’s the idea about it that I also had, Master Gildor. I started priming”Sacrifice” about a year ago (which isn’t easy on resin, by the way) when James gave away to me FS1 and 2. When he sent me the third, I received two days ago, I remembered. So I will have to get back to that again having a third layer of the good-old grey primer on it. – It’s worth it, as then you can paint that piece and still keep your originals untouched. Though … ahem, they are not cheap. But many of the “Teutoburger Wald”- series Chris does are far more expensive.October 31, 2010 at 2:25 pm #12734What is cheap nowadays? Only all the gadgets from China?
October 31, 2010 at 2:38 pm #12744. . mmmh, just saw a horseman of that Teuteburger Wald-serie at the DUZI-tin-minatures-exhibitions couple of weeks ago . . .
Just not knowing about the fact The Man did it . . .October 31, 2010 at 8:24 pm #12766….. nice vignettes…. pure fantasy imagination…. full of naked women…. like in Boris Vallejo illustrations…. see in that link…. http://vallejo.ural.net/1991/
November 14, 2010 at 5:44 pm #13145So better have a closer look at the “Teutoburger Wald”- series, Master Turambar. It’s worth it. Though mind they’re all 54 mm.
Ah, well “purity” (which are the former ‘water-nymphs’) were re-casted in resin as the last of the three vignettes. Didn’t I tell you?November 14, 2010 at 7:42 pm #13149well those three Grenadier females remakes lack something from the originals
