Lovely, Christoph! But what are you doing with these figures? Are these all 4 conversions? Why are some of them looking up towards the sky?

I am in a trance trying to resolve these questions!

And yes, Master Aragorn, all figures are conversion. Also the last one will be a conversion.

this is the last figure I have finished to complete THE TURTLE !
Have a look, it is a conversion from the current ( still current ! ) m-range: the M 516.

So there is one thing left: the composition !
More than difficult this time. The parts have to fit together exactly.
THE TURTLE is finished, still there are photos to make. But I have to go first to DUZI tomorow . . .
Spending days over this composition-thoughts the result should be something like this:

…. I like your way of making diorama concept Christoph… reminds me on me when I was doing big WWII dioramas. Long time ago….. maybe one day I should take back from past this praxis. But I glad to see how the turtle would be… and I saw some walls on sketch book 😆 or I imagine this……

Wow – really cool stuff! Are they in the midst of besieging Helms Deep, worried about being struck by arrows and stones?

Great conversions, painting and concept!

PS: I have one small issue with some of the sculpts. I find it odd that Chris models certain figures to hold a shield just with their hand. I’ve always thought that the only way to hold a large, metal shield is with straps around your forearm. But that is just a curious statement about the models! It doesn’t change that this is a beautiful diorama!

…. in same time on facebook and here on line with you Master from Mirkwood… I have no doubt that your diorama will be beautiful painted piece of Middle earth art… those orcs are simply wonderful and they look so real… I would not be happy to see them in the dark…. those choice of colors become my inspiration fore future Mithril painting jobs… I hope I will see them once face to face…. 😎
