Isildur is painted by me. I really like how he turned out, but I don’t really have a place for him in my collection at the moment.

Hey, Gavin, why are you selling those figures? … no place for them? I cannot believe – unless you want to keep them safe from the cats … ;)

So I could afford more of them?

Oh well, the M2 only went for 4 dollars or something, so…

I think in the next couple of years, I’ll need to keep my collection to a minimum – unless I can actually do something with the figure. I will be going from a smallish house to a smaller apartment (in a nicer place!) so I can’t really have hundreds of unpainted little metal fellows wandering around. Figured I could sell a few and buy a few newer M or MS figures to uses.

That being said, my next big miniature related purchasing will be carry cases able to help transport several hundred metal things across a continent.

… that reminds me that… my mithril collection is … actually… one of the very last things I still need to move in my new house… I havn’t found the courage yet to “open” and prepare the whole mithril collection in my glasscase… for their big change of home… I’m afraid to break any of them…

… I wish you good luck with this particular action…. you will need lot’s of patience with this special precious little things :) but in new home they would be in new place, and whole atmosphere will be refreshed :) I have all of my mithril in one big wooden shelf and last time when I was move them there were some broken pieces… :( uf….

well it takes me more than 3 full glasscases (with several shelves) to display only what is painted in my collection , (which is less than half the collection which is still in blisters…) but still for this half… that makes a lot of work.. something like 400 tiny figurines (especially the death of Boromir… with the arrows added on the body…)
