Good bye Master Barliman. Very sad to hear you are moving on. All the best on your new journey.
Awesome mate!
👍👍👍
I hope and wish that you guy’s take lots of pictures and post them here on MMP! 👍👍👍
That would be absolutely amazing!
Great idea!
Sadly enough I will not be there at the convention. Back in Australia and this is a bit to far…😪
Is Master Elrond on the way to his next host?
Very interesting Master Daines. Can’t wait to see what comes out of this. Thanks for the info👍
<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>by the way Master Gildor, it’s older, not old…. </span>
😀 you don’t replant old trees they say… 😉
Hmm, first I have to say that I don’t have a PC anymore which might be a part of the problem I have with some websites because they are not designed for phones.
Master Gildor if you think about putting MMP on Facebook I don’t think there will be more people visiting. Especially not of the “old” regulars… well, maybe I’m coming from self, because I hate Facebook and I left it years ago when they changed the website. Never to go back. But that is my issue 🥴
Sorry Master Gildor, I’m just not good with PC’s. Not your fault.😉
Hello Master Ent,
Nice to see you here!
Well I guess we “out aging” this new website🥴
Old habits don’t work anymore..
Do I really want to learn all these new things I’m confronted with? No, I don’t think so. I rather do something enjoyable with my time.
Still I think it’s awesome to have this website thanks to Master Gildor. It’s not his fault that I’m not that flexible anymore🤪
Me myself and I are just not capable of uploading pictures….
What a pain in the you know what!
MZ701 the end of Mithril pewter figures is a nice example of how pewter casting works easiest without the mould being stressed. No undercuts at all!
You would be able to cast this figure in one cast, except for the spear. Many undercuts and lots of stress for the mould. On the other hand you most likely can print this figure in one piece including the spear.
Gone are the times where you had horse and rider separated. All one piece…. I don’t like it. Because of that I said what I said regarding recasting a figure in pewter if it is “very much” to my liking.
Correct re undercoat. The rest depends on the actual figure on the way it is printed (pose of fig).
No, silicon rubber doesn’t stick to the figure. You just have to be careful when you embed the figure in the mould.😉
I also have made moulds for spinncasting with loose parts of the mould for extreme undercuts in the mould. Everything is possible. 😎
Well Master Gildor, of course it is possible to make a mould from a printed figure. It’s like a master figure. Even if it is very complex. There is also the possibility to cut a part of and cast it separately. 🤪
I have to agree. The one thing I always disliked was a figure out of resin and plastic!
If a miniature really triggers my fancy, I have to recast it in metal!

Its good to see you around Master Ent 😁
