Schleich makes some great toy sculpts. That Mumak will be fantastic! I wish I had that idea.

Absolutely no secret, OA! I’m forty-two, and still cruisin’ after all
Hey, me too! 42.
Imisel and Holger: Thank you!!
And happy birthday to you Imisel! Any idea how old you might be? Or is that confidential?
My good barkeep, you have got me thinking. I’ll do some research and then see if it’s worth doing. In addition to landfill space, one also has to consider the environmental costs of washing all the cloth diapers (huge amounts of water AND fossil fuels to create the electricity to heat the water and run the machines).
I’m just saying that there are pros and cons to each situation.
My guess is that cloth is still environmentally friendlier, but I’ll do some research.
Thank you for provoking thoughts!
… ahem… still waiting for that drink… service around here…
I can’t argue with that. Sobering thought indeed.
Where’s that round?
Barliman wrote:Yes indeed, Man of the West, “nappy” (plural “nappies”) is indeed the Westron word for that bit of cloth that you (well, someone other than you maybe) wrap round a baby’s business end. Used to be environmentally friendly things that you washed and used again, but has now been replaced by environmentally UNfriendly disposable things that are used just once and then thrown away to clog the planet with yet more garbage.Sad, but true! I’ve known a FEW people who go the cloth diaper route – using a paid diaper service that picks up dirty diapers and drops off clean ones, but I’ll bet that is less than 1% of parents. (Sorry to say, we’ll be part of the 99%)!
There is much to be fixed in this world. Like – why are some people starving while others enjoy a glut of food?
Another round, barkeep!
Is a nappie the European term for diaper?
As a man, my strategy is to be a complete dolt and buffoon when it comes to changing and bathing Braden. I’ll drop things and make messes. Once I display my incompetence, Lily will hopefully not ask for too much help!
What part of Middle Earth are the Black Swordsmen from? I don’t recall them from LOTR.
Then again, I’m not a Tolkien expert!
It’s nice to know that I can see a wonderful diorama every time I come back to this site.
Cheers Christoph!

Very nice! I really like those sworsdmen. Are those from Dol Amroth? And the lighting is very cool for the night watchman.

BUT- the concept is from early 2006 ! Took quiet a time so far . . .
So this base is a bit expressive- a bit-massive-voodoo-style . . . 😎
Rivendell is one of my absolutely favourite sets. I really love the imagining of this peaceful place. I hope you will like it.[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_riv433a.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_riv433a.jpg[/imgz]
Double Wow!
Two stunning dioramas. Keep it up!

Yes, this contrast is not by chance . . . 😎[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_base250a.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_base250a.jpg[/imgz]
Wow!
Thanks for the warm welcome, fellas!
Really nice Gavin!
The colors are nice, as well as the painting and theme.
Hello friends. I have some photos to share of small, happy things. (Even happier than Mithril minis!).
Here is my son Braden Jacob Vaughn. He was born on January 2nd, very premature, at less than 2 pounds. He has done remarkably well and is now up to 7.5 pounds. He is fully healthy and happy except for some issues with his lungs. He’ll be on breathing assistance for a while, maybe a few months. Once his lungs grow a bit more, he will be off the breathing assistance.
We’re very happy with how he is doing.

Excellent work! Very impressive blending and colors. You are very good.
Wow! 😮
These are just perfect.
How did you do that banner?
Christoph – stunning! These are the best Easterlings!
Love the conversion, the paint job, the muted colors, perfect, gritty – !
Thank you for the pendant my friend! It’s a wise choice.
Turambar wrote:Mr. Birthday is right, George! And welcome back here. Hope your stay will take some time . . . Cheers!Hail, King of Gondor!
But I thought you were an elf of Mirkwood.
I plan to stay longer this time. Things are settled after some losses.
Now we have our wonderful son Braden. He grows bigger and stronger every day. He started at 1 pound, 15 oz (885 grams). He is now 3 weeks old and up to 2 pounds, 4 oz (1,021 grams). He is a tough little man.
