Hello to all of you old (and some new) Mithril friends. Indeed it has been a while since I have visited. Of course, nothing is the same since dear Barli has passed on The wargskin rugs are hibernating, it seems. And I have dusted off the table in the dark corner where I usually sit. I think it is long past time or me to light up my pipe and relax here in the quietness that has befallen this once active place. I would welcome a fellow traveler to join me for a drink, should one pass through for old times sake. Please, wake me if I am sleeping so I can greet you.
Hello fellow Mithril enthusiasts, is there word on Elrond’s travels?
Well that is sad news indeed. I have the same sentiments as you all… Barli will be missed.
I hope all of you and your families are doing well. It is nice to stop in here from time to time, even it is to only read someone’s greeting from a few days past. Gildor, regardless of whatever future is in store for this sight, I am very grateful for it and your efforts to keep it up. Thank you.
That is quite a find, Master Milo, Congratulations!
Hello Gildor, Theoden and Master Caster. I am still here from time to time. But I also will not use Facebook, and haven’t for many years. Cheers to you all!
Cheers Holger!
Hello Master Caster! I will drink with you . . . if you are still here. It really is quite dark. Hopefully Barli will pop by from time to time and brighten the place up a bit.
I messaged Michael and asked why there was no July Suggestion period. He said they were busy trying to catch up on their production backlog. Did I miss a communication from him? Did you all know of that decision? Thanks.
Hello Mithril Friends! It has been very quiet in this new Prancing Pony since it opened. I sure hope for Barli’s sake business picks up!
In the meantime, it is very quiet over at the Mithril location as well. I will ask Michael what is the delay in starting the July suggestion period, or did I miss something and they have decided to take a Summer break?
Hello Master Ent, I would raise a glass with you, and any who happen this way.
Thank you Master Barkeep Barli for makig my dark corner as much like the old establishment as possible. Of course, it is rather odd to see “new” Warg skin rugs. And the Scrumpy and Ale taste different–perhaps clean tap lines? 😀
Perhaps you have already made the decision, but “Old” Pony here in read only would be fine in my opinion. As long as it was easy to access and move between “Old” and “New.”
Thank you dear friend, I will!

Congratulations Gildor! That seems quite a feat.

Nice Skilled Artisan! I can’t wait for this series. The books will always be my favorites, but I love (and sometimes hate) to see other interpretations of JRRT.

Yes, I have been missing our companions also. Although it seems I sleep more and more as time passes by.
