Reply To: some juicy ebay-auctions

I did email Michael about the scenery auction I posted and he answered saying that he emailed them asking for proof of permission from Mithril to reproduce their works and that he’d talk it over with Chris and Lars (and that Lars is on vacation this week).

I’d say, if anyone runs across something that really seems like a recast just forward the info to Michael. All we can really do is not buy the item in question and let Mithril know about it.

Perhaps at some point we can compile a list of recasters (or at least suspected of recasting) on ebay so people can be warned? It won’t be a tremendously long list, but worthwhile nonetheless, as Mithrils are collectables and no one wants to buy recasts.
