About MS532 32mm Durin VI, king of Khazad-dum

Last week, I recieved the minis I have bought in Mithril webpage using 11.11.11, most of them where MS range minis.

I have asked MS532, but didn´t come with my package. I have a note that said “MS532 OUT OF STOCK. We send you ASAP when we restock”.

Also, in Mithril webpage you can read on this mini : “Awaiting new stock Dec. 15th”

So here is my question: Re-stocking? How is that possible? aren´t MS minis limited edition (only 150 made)?

Maybe in Macroon are casting again old minis (getting stock for new USA distributor) – So (just guessing) it’s possible that they could made again some of the MS range minis that now are out of stock… (chr1997 or ms437, by example :cool::rolleyes:)

Gildor, do you have more info about this than me? thanks in advance.

Hoummmmmm ! We have information that for MS437 has broken mold… and after that, they (the company) do not want to do it again…. Christmas 1997 is in category “Alien abduction”… and MS532 is typical example of the market surprises. Usually this happens due to the marketing unpreparedness. They sold more than they expected. The only thing is that they did not immediately create 150 copies, but only about one hundredth… or less….

Very good question. I am still waiting for my 11.11.11 minis and there is also a Durin IV inside . . .
Meanwhiling they inform us that new stock is aviable on DEC.15th.

usually only a certain number of castings are made for a “batch”, when they say 150 they mean a batch of 150. Unless the mould is broken, or unless it is clearly stated, those figurines can be reproduced but they do it in batch.

Since they currently have a problem producing the HD2 part 2 too I suppose the problem is “general”… I think they will indeed restock… not to mention they HAVE to, for the new USA distributor…

Ironically, I just painted MS532 this week end, quite a coincidence.

Ahh- nearly four months for a single figure . . .

Well, this seems to be a bad joke… now in Mithril web page appears again “awaiting stock 15th Dec”.

I’m going to write a mail to Joan and Michael asking again – I have order this mini in November and still waiting for a real answer.

It’s very, very annoying.

Indeed that is, Master Imisel. – I just hope that Durin VI won’t get lost as the Theoden-Christmas-figure (and then nobody can remember what really happened … ). It’s a real shame.

“Hi Luk We don’t have any leaflets for the Christmas you asked about. There is about 4 1997 Christmas left. Joan”

I simply asked Joan if it is possible to find Theoden Christmas 1997 figure somewhere in factory… and few days after she send me this e-mail…. so there are still 3 Theoden left… …. I bought one directly on last Christmas figures discount and I payed for this figure 22,00 Euros… Today Theoden is become part of my christmas range So Master Imisel…. be quick and just send e-mail to Joan Collins…. and do not ask Michael any more about missing figures questions… He lives on the web, and Joan work at the factory in a dusty warehouse

Mistress Joan is running through a duty archieve between boxes of Saruman´s halforcs, prototypes of Dale-soldiers, the never released smaug-box . . .

Great that you have this figure, Nino!!!!!

Compare the box with that you will get today . . .
