A rather interesting, if unsatisfactory reply for those who do not have this figure …..
“We don’t have the masters or the moulds. That is why.”
Why don’t they have the moulds and master?

February 7, 2014 at 7:45 am #29811February 7, 2014 at 9:06 am #29813I get teh same information in November last year- after TWO years of ordering . . . He told me the same, Master Imisel.
But with different words. I asked him several times during this period and an answer was also that he requested the master from Mr. Tubb . . .
Obviously that went wrong, however the reasons were.
Interesting- and absolutely wrong in this case- the announcement of a “new stock on 15th dec (2012)” !Interesting also that behind the curtain ONE figure (obviously a spare one founded by chance in some drawer over there . . . ) was sold . . .
I became beware of that by an absolutely chance . . .However- yes, absolutely unsatisfactory reply for those who do not have this figure and Master Theobald said the truth before.
I was very much angry in November/December, meanwiling I had enough scrumpy to forget about that.I came more and more to the conclusion, that inside this company different people has got absolutely no idea . . .
So Master Imisel, we both seem to be the “king of pain” in this case . . .

Sorry to give bad news, Turambar.
Nothing new under the sun and moon.
I keep all my correspondence .. so
before Internet in 1995 (not so long ago) in a mithril order … already delays on production (see attached letter)[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/485_17-02-2014_12-39-40.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/485_17-02-2014_12-39-40.jpg[/imgz]
January 23, 2015 at 11:26 am #32108Yesterday I recieved the Isildur christmas 1993 miniature… Also MX600 LOTR ‘The Crack of Doom’ and 2014 Lord of the Rings ‘Lossoth™ Shaman Chieftain’
But when I made the order last week, I also asked to get a refund of my still proccessing order (from 21/12/2012!!!) with the MS532 Lord of the Rings ‘Durin VI™, king of Khazad-dum™, as many of you know, it’s in “OUT OF STOCK” long time ago.
Well, last week with the email about my current order processing, Joan answer this:
Hi Jose , I have found an MS532 for you so I will send it with your order. Joan
With my box, it comes a MS532, so I finally got it. But the mini it’s still out of order in web page.
Maybe people that it’s still waiting for it (Mornedhel???, ddaines???) if you talk (and insist) with Joan at dispatch@princeaugust.ie can get any response.
January 23, 2015 at 12:06 pm #32109Great catch Master imisel ! 😎
I hope other fellows here will get it one day.January 23, 2015 at 12:22 pm #32110I will sent Joan a big box of belgian “pralines”. It proved many time useful in the past
January 23, 2015 at 4:44 pm #32111I will never understand all this.
Long time ago Durin VI suddenly wasn’t available any more, not very long after its release. This status did not change until I read the entry by Imisel today. Back in those days there were 150 figures casted of each release. It clearly was impossible that within a few days all 150 were sold. So, where’s the rest of them?
(Alas, I’m lucky to have one of those Durin VI.)Lately, as we know, a box of the 1993 ( !!! ) Isildur Christmas-Figures was suddenly and surprisingly discovered in a store room in Macroom. When I asked Michael O’Brien if he could tell how many of those figures were in that box, he simply answered that he had no idea about the correct number of figures.
So, what do we all have to think of all this ?

I think it may be Master Archer that awaits this figure as I have it in my hoard (somewhere)
January 24, 2015 at 12:13 am #32117I ordered my “Durin IV” on 11/11/2011 !!!!! That was more “long ago” as you, Master imisel . . .
As I told elsewhere: I asked Joan THE SAME QUESTION. But- unfortunately couple of months ago. At that time she answered: no chance!So- at prEsent MAster imisel is the “king of luck” and I am happy with him, because it is a really great miniature. I would go so far: the best dwarvn miniature!
How could I know that? Because it stood in front of me on my workbench. Years ago.
Did I ever told that? I gave “my” figure in a painted version to a very generous person as a present. Far accross the ocean. And I am still proud for that decision!
Just thinking: well- I just order another figure . . . and paint it again for myself . . .
A BIG MISTAKE . . .
That was it:[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_durin0862_a_kopie.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_durin0862_a_kopie.jpg[/imgz]
AND NOW I WILL WRITE MR. DAVID DAINES A PM !
January 24, 2015 at 12:56 am #32118Mornedhel, I do remember those pics well enough …. as you once provided them after your visit … alas, it’s simply a mess … and a very small room indeed, somehow dis-organized. Thank you for providing those pics in public of the room where some old spin-moulds are still kept. Though no one really knows what they are, I’m afraid.
January 24, 2015 at 8:59 am #32119To me, it was always clear that only production was limited, even back to M1-M82 range. I invite you to re-read Tengwar 1&2.There is something about not available anymore, few stock remainig for fellowhip members.
I do not remember also having read anywhere that moulds are destroyed, except for MX moulds which destruction at the end shall not belong to the company but to the MX project sponsor.
Master Moernedhel pics confirms moulds still exist, that’s all.Now about mini stock management, there is definitely a mess.

January 24, 2015 at 11:19 am #32122As for MX-moulds, that’s still a mystery to me. Indeed, Master Milo, part of the agreement about an MX release reads that after production the moulds would be destroyed. You quoted well. – But so far I have only seen a picture of the “Frumgar”-mould being destroyed. (I provided it somewhere here on MMP.) Though our dear Master Caster let me know that it could have been easily refixed, if you want to. – – – I don’t know about the present status of the MX-Imrahil and the MX-UP moulds.
And that’s it.
Thank you for providing that picture … From the changed shield-design, the diorama-pieces and the background I think I can guess who made this. It’s just wonderful, isn’t it. A marvel that is.January 24, 2015 at 8:49 pm #32129Turambar wrote:I ordered my “Durin IV” on 11/11/2011 !!!!! That was more “long ago” as you, Master imisel . . .

Well, in fact, this was my second Durin order. I have cancelled a previous one in 2011 too, and I ordered another one in dec’12 when, because an error in the new mithril web page, it showed (erroneously) that they have that miniature in stock. So I order it again only to get notified a few days later that this was wrong. But I don’t cancell the order that time waiting for a miracle that finally happens (or something like this). I wish you get yours someday, really.
January 25, 2015 at 12:33 am #32130Ha!
I did exactly the same! So- I have ordered it three times . . . 😆
But- what to say: the company could kiss . . . . . . . . . ( that would be too rude for anybody. Too much influence by “Game of Thrones” meanwhiling . . . )January 25, 2015 at 8:18 pm #32136Milo wrote:Quote:[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_durin0862_a_kopie.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_durin0862_a_kopie.jpg[/imgz]Fantastic !
Indeed
January 29, 2015 at 10:09 pm #32152For completeness: Sometimes stories which were clearly dammed to be evil come to a happy end. In this case: an amazing end!!!!!

I am still wishing my eyes to be sure, that it is the truth what is lying in front of me on my workbench!
Let´s go to work . . . again . . . -
