Master Axel has mentioned in the GF-Forum, there would be the chance of Elrond´s council in initiating a new MX!
( of course only, if you understand Master Axel the right way . . . )
Well everybody knows about the financial aspect of this MX-project.
So, what would you think about forming a “fellowship of the MX” ?!
Don´t be afraid- this all is very unconcrete . . . just treat this as pulling out some antennas . . .

PS: Although an easterling chariot would be interesting as well . . . :rolleyes:

well I must add a little information here :

there is a “strong” rumor spreading , linked to a line of text by Michael O’Brien in the last newsletter and the fact the council of elrond has been discussed many times both on the GF forums AND in private with Chris Tubb (with myself and maybe many other people)

what Michael mentionned is that there “may be a project of Council of Elrond vignette”… but was it stated anywhere that this project was a Mithril Designer (MX) project? It could very well be a regular release (in this case, “MB”) project!

as for “fellowship of the MX”, this was done before with the Frumgar project, If I remember well.

Instead of the Councuíl it would be better to row backwards . . .

. . . and focus on that easterling chariot, peut-etre . . .

Well, as for me, I have to calm down a bit, as I’m simply awaiting to have the UP in my hands soon.
Of course there often have been wonderful ideas about certain ideas and how to realize them.
But let’s consider, please, that the Mithril-M-range has been shrunken to that what it is now. I feel sorry for that. Submitting the Mx-MP I did not want at all to push thoughts further to let more Mx’s being produced and so limiting the access to the figures. I also did not want to start a competition about who is able to let an even better MX-‘thing’ to be started. NO !

Yes, Master Rita.de, you’re right saying that it’s better to “row backwards”, as you called it. I would be pleased with that very much. Having more regular releases in the old M-series being more affordable to people being interested in them and the fine quality of Mithril miniatures. And not only in “army-sets”. There also should be “named” characters in the M-series again! But that would have to be planned, outsourced and being done … huoommm

I spoke with the Man…

so far, things have to be calmed down I think the Council of Elrond is no more than a “project” nothing done at all and not sure to be done too…

there are lots of things to discuss, other projects, ranges, etc…

I am in big discussions at the moment with the Man and maybe we will end up finding things that in the end may even lead to the release of vignettes… and boost of mithril marketing…

oh by the way, I had a look at the fortchming Arvedui, it is perfect…. really I like it, I cannot reveal it yet but I’m sure you’ll be pleased. Chris has been able to render the “defiance in defeat”… that’s quite impressive

That’s what I said at the beginning … calm down, didn’t I? and that’s what I try to do.

so, why guess or even discuss here, Master Gildor, when things are not decided or even considered … but, right you are saying that “there are lots of things to be discussed …”

the picture is from the last newsletter that was sent this afternoon actually but I am curious to know abotu other communities and forums that speak about Mithril, it would be cool to be a member of this forum

Still the White Council is not the Council of Elrond though the furniture and even the figurines themselves could be used to build a Council of Elrond ourselves

Ooops! True, Master Turambar. Elrond had a thing for Councils, hadn’t he? Anyway the White Council used to met in Rivendell… so this is the “Council at Elrond’s”

We have no special information on WHERE the White Council met… It could be in several places, but I doubt it is in Imladris only…

Easy. Keep about 30 references of troops for each main faction (Rohan Gondor, Mordor, etc) in catalogue, lower the prices and invest in marketing. And finally, offer a plastic base for us gamers so you can fit the traditional metal integral base within the plastic base.
