      These are the people who are involved with the various LOTR boardgames, such as Middle-earth Quest, The War of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings Board-game.

      I’m excited. I just volunteered to playtest.

        Interesting! Something completely new, or is there any inheritance?

          We don’t know yet.

          I’d speculate (and this is just speculation based on zero, 0, none, nada) knowledge that it might have some DNA from the Middle-earth Quest boardgame. Same designer and that boardgame has RPG-ish elements. Beyond that, the system is meant to be new, so likely it has no direct connection to MERP, LOR (or MEAGS) or the Decipher CODA rules.
