Huoommmm … thank you indeed, Master Barliman. …. huoommm … a nice liquid there’s in that bowl …. huooommm
February 17, 2008 at 5:29 pm #1390Just been over to the Mathom House to take a look at young Imrahil. That’s a very nice figure of the Prince indeed, though the horse looks a bit wonky in this one picture – assuming that it’s his actual horse? Ah, no, I see there’s a separate picture of the actual horse – ah, that’s much better. If THAT’S his horse then this is going to be a fine figure!
February 18, 2008 at 12:50 pm #1393Thank you your comment … huoommmm …. I can keep you all informed, if you wish ….. huom
February 18, 2008 at 12:55 pm #1394Yes indeed.
February 18, 2008 at 1:27 pm #1395A very nice Prince indeed! Good on ya Master Ent! A wise decision for the wisest of Ents to get him done. A idea like this has to be honoured and therefor I will pay for the drinks of my friend the Ent from now on. Hopefully the rumours won’t drown in to much of this nice liquid!
February 18, 2008 at 1:49 pm #1396Ah, do you want to settle the Tree’s tab while you’re feeling generous? I hope you’ve got enough arms and legs that you can afford to part with a few of them…
February 18, 2008 at 3:00 pm #1397Huooommmm … thank you very much Master Caster …. huom…. methinks Master Barliman is exaggerating a little bit about those tabs as I can only recall one …. rhuomm
February 18, 2008 at 3:16 pm #1398Hmm the Master Barkeep must have heard of the dwarfen gold…
But you are right, you need a lot of arms and legs to carry it…February 18, 2008 at 3:18 pm #1399You are welcome Master Ent! You also should find something to read and to ponder about in you letterbox.
February 18, 2008 at 4:13 pm #1400A footnote on the subject of this years’ Salute figure, by the way, is that after last year’s hoo-hah it isn’t an ‘official’ Mithril figure, just a Prince August figure. Interestingly, however, the early pre-production castings do have the Mithril name on the base and, what’s more interesting, a number…I’m trying to get hold of one of these at the moment, and will let you know if I find out anything more.
February 18, 2008 at 5:44 pm #1406Yes, The Prince does indeed look a princely figure and a very welcome addition to the range. There seems to have been a run on battle weary warriors of late – Aragorn and Eomer, and now Imrahil.
February 19, 2008 at 1:11 pm #1416Huooommm … yes, I started planning that figure about half a year ago …. hom …. thanks for your comments about that metal piece … huooommm …. yesterday I found one that even is a bit more up to date, so to say …. rhuoommm …. I fixed it at the same place, so you might have a short glance at it … rhuommm ….
February 19, 2008 at 1:44 pm #1417It’s looking better and better. I only hope that I’m able to afford one when the time comes!
February 19, 2008 at 2:36 pm #1419Huuooommmm …. that of course depends on the amount of tabs I still have to pay for, Master Barliman … rhuoommm …
February 19, 2008 at 2:38 pm #1420Rhhuooommmm …. sorry I forgot … let’s say one or two more months to be passed … huoommm … but I will not haste, you know … hom

February 21, 2008 at 2:37 pm #1445Ah, a customer at last. Is it your usual ginger beer shandy, Master Ken?
By the way, I was scared almost out of my breeches earlier today by a vicious rumour that my friends the Perrys had been ‘let go’ by GW, but happily it turns out to be untrue – like many rumours! So there are at least some capable hands still at work on the GW LOTR range, even if the worst of the unlamented Mr Morley’s creations have yet to be foisted upon the unsuspecting world. Rumour has it that his Mordor knights are dreadful, though I suppose it would be fairer to wait until I’ve actually seen them before agreeing.
February 21, 2008 at 3:23 pm #1446Well master Butterbur, I am a bit exhausted with all the work around those last days… May I have some of your refreshing drinks please? No beer , no… something … fresher…
Oh and please, go pay a visit to the “Mithril Gallery” when you have time, things are evolving well…
Has anybody seen the recruting post I asked Nob to nail at the door? So far , not a lot of replies… I suppose I should take some rest… Make it two drinks master Innkeeper! with little sausage rolls please, you’ll be kind.
February 21, 2008 at 3:25 pm #1447Do you want them on a little pointy stick, like the nobs have them? Or are you a fingers man (er, Elf) like all sensible Breelanders?
The old advertisements up in the gallery are particularly interesting. What a shame Mithril never advertises its wares anywhere any more!
February 21, 2008 at 4:26 pm #1449Huoooommmm …. yes, I’ve seen the ‘recruiting post’, Master Gildor. …huom … though I have to admit that I didn’t understand it completely … huooom… helping sounds much like being in need of special technical skills that might be beyond my practise …. rhuooommm…. forgive me, please, but you know Ents are not always capable of nowadays’ demands ….. hom … and sometimes even a bit slow in understanding certain matters …. rhuoommm. Oh, and by the by the old papers in the Gallery do not open completely, methinks …. huomrhuuoomm.
I can imagine your exhaustion and tiredness, Master Gildor…… huom …. so it was a good decision to take a rest … I’ll pay for that, Master Barliman …. huommm -
