Ah ha, seems to be that Mr. David Daines is a member of that pottery-training the wife also took part in . . . 😆
This looks fantastic, David. Very very ambitious! Due to this projekt !
PS: still looking in the dictionary for right words . . .

The weight also might be high…:rolleyes:Actually the whole weight is not too bad Milo, as the clay is over some lightweight foam.

Ah, as long as I don’t try spinning clay on a wheel I am OK I’m glad you like the progress so far Master Turambar and by the bye, the words look fine .
November 22, 2010 at 9:36 pm #13374Hopefully something of interest in The Gallery of Master Samwise
January 29, 2013 at 7:50 pm #26907All MX are listed, detailed and declared Out of Stock on mithril web site, meaning MX535 had more success than any MS since Halbarad…
http://www.mithril.ie/PBSCCatalog.asp?CatID=1860788&BrandID=167465It also means the UP becomes a another treasure to keep safe !
Again, I want to thank you Master Theobald as I would not be here without this best mithril scene ever done. 😎January 29, 2013 at 7:58 pm #26908Milo wrote:Again, I want to thank you Master Theobald as I would not be here without this best mithril scene ever done. 😎Yes, of course! but Mithril does not say who commissioned it…..
January 29, 2013 at 9:52 pm #26909I asked Master O’Brien to keep record on the new official Mithril site about the MX-releases. He said he’d do it this week, but it would be just for keeping record as all MXs were sold out by now (which might include the MX-Up). I didn’t know about that so far as it it is not my matter. I just asked him to keep record.
As for me, well, I am very much pleased with that, as it shows that the project I once thought of met the very interest of Chris Tubb and could see the light with the help of Lars Edman. – Though, to be honest, it was a hard decision those days. I would have rather had a lower price for that vignette to be sold. But … it was an Mx and quite a massive one. So here I would like to thank Chris and Lars to be willing to support that project of mine.
I’m simply glad that one of my “darest dreams” has become true … and that’s all there isJanuary 29, 2013 at 10:30 pm #26910Thank you, Master Milo and Master Erchamion for your kind words. – To be honest, since the MX-UP was released I doubted if that vignette could ever be sold because of the price. But I had to give in, as I have been convinced about costs for production.
Alas, for some years I tried to start making my dreams come true with some MX-Figures.
I was influenced by the Frumgar-idea, then had Imrahil, well, then with the MX-UP I simply allowed a dream of mine to become true. Definitely.
So all there is to me is being satisfied about the reactions and help. Thank you all.January 30, 2013 at 7:51 am #26911…. maybe we should invest in the near future ( FEW OF US ) like it was for MX-Frumgar)), together in one bigger MX project….
I’m happy because of this magnificent MX-UP…. really deserved to be sold !!!
January 30, 2013 at 8:21 am #26912It “was” a really good set !
Unfortunately, for me it was too expensive…….
Nice idea: one of the better scene of the book!January 30, 2013 at 9:07 am #26914Thingol wrote:…. maybe we should invest in the near future ( FEW OF US ) like it was for MX-Frumgar)), together in one bigger MX project….I’m happy because of this magnificent MX-UP…. really deserved to be sold !!!

March 1, 2015 at 12:38 pm #32302I am happy to announce here, that some time ago my opportunity to acquire The Unexpected party passed away from my hands (mainly because my forths and backs with the hobby) but now thanks to Thorondor and also Milo who kindly enough stepped back in my favour. In a few days I will be one more happy owner of that wonderful reference that is the [mith]MX535[/mith]
And although it was years ago I would also want to thank Theobald for making that project come true. -
