you don’t have to excuse for your thoughts, Master Gildor … not at all … why?
All this simply is about an idea of an unexpected party, so to me it doesn’t matter very much when “unexpected” will be … I think it’s more important that there will be something “unexpected”November 1, 2009 at 1:26 pm #7599I really like this and I have to say I do have enough patience to wait, however long it will take!
November 1, 2009 at 2:09 pm #7601… rhuoomm … just a short while in the mind of trees, Master Hsf62 … just a short while … as there are also other concepts being hidden within that MX nobody knows about … I cannot talk about all that, because I really do prefer only to give away facts, not rumours, as you might know … so, patience might be the right word … so let’s see what happens next … and, as you might also know, it takes some time for trees to consider and contemplate about certain matters … rhuoomm you know … unless some rascal cuts down the palms on his premises …
prepared for that riddely thing by now? … instead of enjoying your summer down-under?November 2, 2009 at 12:02 pm #7629:oMaster Ent, did you google earth my backjard, or where did you get the idea from that I’ve just started cutting down all the Palms in my backjard??
😀
November 2, 2009 at 3:45 pm #7632Rhuooommm … whatever “google” means, Master Hsf62, … huommm .. there are things trees do know 😆 … sorry for having used the word ‘rascal’ for you … but how to call someone running around and cutting all the palm trees … rhuoommm … but still there are some of them left …
November 2, 2009 at 7:06 pm #7638Huoommm … as for that MX-vignette matter I read today that Master O’Brian had to admit in his latest newsletter that the vignette cannot be produced this year … rhuoommm … that’s what I was sure about, but he didn’t ask me about this … rhuoommm … a ‘new’ picture he presented … huoommm … that must have been stolen from the gallery somewhere in here … huomm … I’ll have a look …. gruooohommhom … anyway, that way he always tries to keep up suspense about them 13 Dwarves … oops, and a Hobbit and an old man, of course.
Alas, I forgot …. well, about the date of release of that unexpected party I pointed out before that Christmas always was never been thought of being realistic for such a date … rhuoommm … remember that Master O’Brian announced that party as being available in late August this year … rhuoommm … that would have been impossible … huoommm … well, to be honest, I know that The Company tried to force The Man to finish that vignette as soon as possible …. rhuoommm … I tried to convince him to take his time for that … rhuoommm … of course I did not have to convince him … huoommm … as he also knows that time is the essence of having something good … rhuoommm … I do hope The Man will not be angry about me tree telling you this … in case he reads this … rhuoomm … and reading this he does … ahem …
so to me the end of Ferbruary or early March 2010 can be considered as a date of release … huommmmhomNovember 3, 2009 at 7:18 am #7647… if it will be a early march 2010. I will buy it this precious as a gift to my daughter for her first birthday
November 3, 2009 at 1:49 pm #7649Yes Master Ent there are still some left….. but not for to long anymore….
By the way, you can’t really call them tree anyway. They are more like a black huorn. Very messy and destructive and the same as a black huorn, you can’t use them as firewood eighter. :
Don’t appologise for calling me a rascal… there might be some truth in this word:rolleyes:November 3, 2009 at 3:10 pm #7655Nino – how “generous” to get your daughter this vignette for her 1st birthday!
Is that like when a husband gets his wife tickets to a football game for “her” birthday?

November 3, 2009 at 7:57 pm #7666Yes George this is correct comparison !!!! 😆 anyway…. she will inherit whole collection….
November 4, 2009 at 4:38 pm #7681I just learned that the progress concerning the UP-vignette is increasing again. After slight technical changes and some change in the “sale-strategy sector” I heard that the finished vignette is about to leave The Man’s working table in some days, being ready to have production started.
November 5, 2009 at 8:26 pm #7688So, the vignette will only be available as ONE PIECE, as it was meant to be. There will be no singular bases for the groups to sell them separately (wouldn’t make any sense with a limited MX-release, would it?).
Maybe there were rumours spread about this once – maybe this was misunderstood because of some misunderstandings or dis-information. I cannot recall.
I also have to correct my last estimation about the date of release. It might be much earlier than I guessed in my last entry. For those who are concerned about spending that much money at once, I think there will be certain conditions being offered by The Company.November 5, 2009 at 11:04 pm #7691These are good news, Master Theobald. I agree that the decision to offer it as one piece is the right one. Why dividing it into parts . . .
Let´s hope of a nearly release and let´s hope of sensible marketing strategies. Certain conditions are alwasy welcomed.November 6, 2009 at 4:25 pm #7701Well, the vignette has been completely finished by now and is on its way to The Company. Next Thursday mould-making will start.
Mx535 ‘The Unexpected Party’
By now I’m sure it will be a massive Mithril-jigsaw-puzzle as I just received a list of all the parts of the vignette.November 7, 2009 at 12:44 am #7710(please master Ent, could you give me the avant-premiere info about the number of pieces and what they are so that i can fill the database in exclusivity
thanks in advance)November 7, 2009 at 9:06 am #7712MX535 he ! I will put it on my mithril list
In advance !
November 7, 2009 at 11:40 am #7715I guess this will be the longest list of pieces which belong to one MX/boxed set produced by Mithril:P
Good stuff!November 7, 2009 at 12:20 pm #7718Yes, Master Gildor, I will do so, of course.
As for your guess, Master Hsf62, I’m sure you’re right. I think there will be 45 pieces … (I hope I counted correctly) … huommm … for the regular release, of course. But what makes it even more difficult is the fact that there will be no locator-holes in the base, that’s why I called it a jigsaw puzzle before …. but, on the other hand that leaves the chance to assemble the vignette individually …
November 8, 2009 at 5:13 am #7733Even better Master Ent. It’s nice if you can give this vignette a individual touch.
