Can’t wait fro the finished result to come Christoph.

Alas my Turin figure was missing the spear arm and as this was the days before you could bombard Mithril with emails asking for a replacement it has had to remain that way, not that it matters as I will eventually sort it.

    In anticipation….;)

My word, Christoph, you are a very talented painter, and a very talented visual designer. I love the mood and tonalities of the image and the palettes you use for paint: dark, grey, nebulous but still distinctive. The result is rich and atmospheric and does great honour both to the legendarium and the sculptor.

Hey Gavin, thank you for your compliment- it means much to me- Skilled Artisan- cause I do like your work as well.
I had a look at the mithril/fan painting section for years ( I am there too ! ) and recognize your person :)

By the way: Please compare our birthdays . . . ;)

A long time has passed. But I am still working on these little treasures . . . You have to know, that not only the fabolous Wendy is called “slowest painter ever . . .”
    There is another one . . . ;)

Concerning this Master of the Tama I have to say, that I really love this ” ptolemaic ” head-form. Fantastic.
And I have to say: Thank you to this forums┬┤database, that helps me to put him in the right context.

Oh….here comes another one — especially for Holger.
I am sure, he is able to put this undercover-message in the right context . . . ;)
Maybe it gives him a litte, well, let me say: motivation . . . .
This Isengart- scene is my current work in progress. I hope you like it too.

Ho, I am coming a bit late to this exhibition, so I start with praising your Gandalf and the Elves – marvellous! The watercolour background really adds some magic to the scenery.

Here are the announced orcs. They should be seen in the context of the current discussion in the Taproom . . .

Ahh, the second slowest painter ever ( the first one is Wendy ! ) has finished a miniature. This time it tooks two month. This Rohan Archer is a gift to me from Master Erchamion. I am very thankful of that . I hope, Erchamion you like the result. This archer is being meant to find his place in a Rohan-Diorama which I currently work on.

I hope you like it and I hope it can show the high quality of miniature sculpting which makes mithril so wonderful . . .
