More Orcish goodness! Your Moria project looks most promising, I can’t wait to see the whole thing
February 20, 2010 at 2:34 pm #8865Das warten hat sich gelohnt Christoph!
How many minis are supposed to show up in this diorama of Moria??? 😎
February 21, 2010 at 12:49 am #8869Das kann ich Dir genau sagen, Holger:
at this time there will be 21 Orcs and one Troll. Everything is painted actually!
I am currently working on the bases.February 21, 2010 at 9:28 am #8870first of all I would like to tell you, Master Rita.de, that I like your painting-skills very much …
and I’m really looking forward to your Moria-diorama … yes, time it takes … but be assured that the time you took for realising that ‘dream’ of your ‘Moria’ could clearly be witnessed in the way you paint and create a special atmosphere in the pictures you take … just keep on, please
thank you for providing …February 21, 2010 at 12:02 pm #8871Wooaaaw!
For this I can wait even longer…. (In der Ruhe liegt die Kraft!)February 21, 2010 at 1:25 pm #8872Huoommm … I can wait … why haste everything? … rhuoommm … MORIA wasn’t built in a day, as far as I know … as those Dwarves spent a lot of time on it … rhuoomm … yes, I can wait …
as for that German words around here I think they do not fit well … rguoomm .. though I try to understand … huuuooorhuhuoommhooomm … yes … I do … huom …February 21, 2010 at 11:24 pm #8882Gentlemen, thank you for your support. In this case, Master Theobald, I was that Ent-like as it was possible for non-Ents.
You would have liked all this patience, insistence and persistence. And it is still going on, because it is not finished yet.
Still arranging and arranging . . .February 28, 2010 at 2:54 pm #8946Taking pics and pics and pics . . . I am a bit proud of the result, also these both are having an important place inside the Moria dio . . .
The “basese-problem” is solved that way, that I cut thin slate-plates where I put the miniatures on using super-xxx-glue. So they can be taken out to have a look
on every side . . . or to take better pics . . .[imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_troll314.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_troll314.jpg[/imgz]

February 28, 2010 at 5:16 pm #8947…. release the beast… release it…. quick… intruders are in the royal Balin’s tomb…
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! magnificent !
February 28, 2010 at 6:01 pm #8949You shouldn’t only be “a bit proud”, Master Rita.de … this is fantastic …
I always wondered why you cut off the bases of the figures … but that’s a very good idea … thin slate matches best to your wonderful scheme of colours … keep on, let me see the bridge at Khazad Dhûm …February 28, 2010 at 8:25 pm #8950Theobald wrote:You shouldn’t only be “a bit proud”, Master Rita.de … this is fantastic …

February 28, 2010 at 10:57 pm #8952Thank you friends, and thank you Master Erchamion for your sympathy.
I am afraid the scene won´t be that spectacular. I try give my dioramas a more temperate, a more moderate look, due to the art of sculpting of The Man.
Well, I try, anyway this is my “philosophy”.
Oh, you there will be the bridge, of course, but in a different way . . .March 28, 2010 at 12:17 pm #9173Puuuhh, that tooks nearly half a year. . .
I was very lucky about the axemen being offered to me.
And very lucky indeed about this coloumn I have found really by chance. There was a certain idea immedeately.
This is the result![imgz url=http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/32_mmp_ironhills7.jpg]http://mmp.faerylands.eu/uploads/thumbs/32_mmp_ironhills7.jpg[/imgz]

April 2, 2010 at 3:52 pm #9290Your work is amazing. Three fantastics trolls especially.
I see we share the same vision regarding Orcs (leather, skin color, even minatures choices)
We shall meet all these Evil miniatures once to make Moria biggest army ! -
