A lot is written here. And I must confess that I read not all of the statements. But I have bought some 2 or 3 Minis from Drizztdourden on ebay some years ago. But I was angry at that time because he didn´t send it in time and only after some hard discussions about consequences. So, perhaps, two or three of mine are fakes.
I don´t know when I got in contact with Holger. One day, years ago, he told me that he is making duplicates. In these times I was missing a knife for the smuggler or somebody else, I can´t remember. He said that he can make it for me and that we stay in contact. In the last months I received a very rare mini in exchange for an all-day-mini from him. But I didn´t have any suspect. I thought he was only very friendly.

So, I have only one question: what do you say to all that, Holger? I am still willing to believe that you didn´t intend to cause any trouble among us!

Well, now that I am no longer a nameless traveller but a keeper of some very strange forest, I must confess that I am not surprised that Chris is moving incognito among us. – By the way, Master Barliman! May I have a half pint of that new pale ale you´ve got here? My mouth is so dry – Where the heck he should have some honest feedback upon his work if not here? Okay, he might ask us . . .
Greetings to you, Master! Uhmm? Are you, aren´t you . . .? No. Perhaps. But not for sure . . .

              Thanks, Gildor,

keeper sounds a lot better to me than master . . . and it´s more me: keeping instead of ruling or reigning.

                Hi Theobald,

yes, it was you, who planted this “miniature-sharing” in my mind with some generous gifts in the past. I remember a Dwarf Warrior and the alternate Imrahil . . . Not to forget Holger who changed one of the most valuable MX-figures with some most common, let´s say cheap, minis! Very nice gesture, too.
It really seems to be(come) a true fellowship! And, as we say in Germany: “Kleine Geschenke erhalten die Freundschaft!” (“Little gifts keep friendship!”)

Lucky guy, I call you, Gildor! A son, a loving wife that understands your hobby and a specially made miniature only for you!
But lucky I am, too! Three children, already (mostly) grown up (an early father I was! Yes! Quite early!), a specially miniature was made for me, too. But my wife . . . she loves me. One has to be content.
To be honest: that figure is amazing! If I had a chance I would instantly change it with my suggestion Gilraen although she´s great, too!

P.S.: Where can I get those cool titles like “Wandering elf” or “Archer of Mirkwood”? It was easy to have an avatar. But where can I get a title?

                      Hi Gildor,

I can keep a secret as you know. But you made me curious! What is that “Born of Hope”-thing about? Can I get a hint somewhere? There are a lot of different locations and rooms in here . . .
Be sure: I won´t give unguarded advice, too, ´cause I know it´s a hard, hard decision . . . When I made my decision I was sure that only four were made forever!
Maybe better, we talk on a more personal place?

                        Hi everybody,

after a long time being muted by technical problems on this site I only want to mention that I am happy that Chris and Gildor found this solution for all you true collectors and fellows. I was was not very lucky when I found that nice squirrel in my post box in 2008 in such a small number . . . Don´t misunderstand me! I loved it and still do! It´s a great gesture of a generous man and artist! But with whom should I share my precious? There were some old fellows which were more near to me than others, there were fellows who had made themselves worthy because of all their work and efforts for this hobby! For me it was clear as a cloudless summer morning that I won´t sell it. This gift was too precious! It has to be given away as a present! I chose a few receivers and kept only one Morlas for myself.

I felt that this was the only right way to share it.
When Theobald asked me if he can announce it here I didn´t hesitate a second to agree with it. This is a fellowship! We are individuals and may have our own “thing” (jobs, families, problems, sports, other hobbies)! But we should share our joy without financial interests if possible and reasonable!

So I am very happy that my greatest disappointment in my relations to Mithril turned out to develop into a nice story of generosity and selflessness!

                        Greetings to all of you!

                        Roland

P.S.: As I told Theobald before: the name Morlas was my invention not Chris´

Wow, I didn´t know these pictures and dioramas were made by You, Christoph! I knew them for a long time and was always very impressed.

                            Uhh? Yeah.
                            In Bree.
                            There.

                            Uhhm, yes . . .

                            But? But?

What is the most common tongue? Except music? Ahh, yes, Westron! Like you speak it! Nowadays called lingua franca. Oh! No! Excuse me! Not in your area! This was in center-Middle-Earth or more southern regions, some centuries ago! Over here it is old saxon!
Ooooh, shi…! No, `beg your pardon! I think you´ll call it english! Today. On the other hand: doesn´t matter. Same roots, same familiy! What did the professor say about this? For sure, there are some strong influences from far away in the North: Finland (near Cape Forochel). All elvish tongues have their roots there, and with tose the language of the Edain, Dunedain, all Gondorians and their subjects, like Hobbits, you Breelanders and all the others under the reign of the crown!

                              A Elbereth!

Laughing with Umlaut is not so hard for the people of the common tongue, I guess! To write it down is easy for me, as native German: it´s part of my keyboard . . . But spoken the letter “ä” sounds like the “a” in the word “that”. I know you guys from the islands do have more problems with the two others: “ü” and “ö”.

But you are right, that it sounds a little dirty, spiteful, gloating, tough! Depends on how or if you press or breathe the air out while laughing . . . May sound like a gattling gun or a dangerous threatening demon!

I am new in here! Can you tell me, where I can get a little stout ale?

                                Hähähä!

                                Hi everybody,

after years of watching I´m now able to post in here! Thanks to Gildor and a little freeware that can shoot a screenshot . . .

The UP is my prrrecious! As I mentioned before in a place not sooo far away!

Thank you, Gildor, Gavin and Theobald,

I (re)found my old book “The complete guide to Middle Earth” by Robert Foster. I can confirm all you stated about him, Gildor. So, he is one of the most exciting “living” people of Middle Earth! Compared to him a lot of other elves, men or dwarves had a boring life. ;) And he was one of the mightiest and most successful warriors ever! As fighter and captain!
