Having Gandalf and Pippin as the same piece as Shadowfax, that’s going to be ‘interesting’ to paint.
Why couldn’t they be separate? Other companies using 3d printing (Caballero Miniatures, for example) manage to have separate horse and rider.
I’m curious as well to see what the figures will look like with primer. It’s not as if removing it is going to be risk free, most (if not all) paint removers are damaging to resin.
Hi Gildor,
I thought you might be the winner! Well done!
I was watching it but I didn’t realise at the time how special it was and so I didn’t bid on it. It was only afterwards, when I looked at the finished listing and looked at photos of the released version, that I realised the uniqueness of it. The rest of the afternoon was spent kicking myself!
In my opinion I much prefer it to the released Fellowship version, it tells the story better.
I’ve been looking at the other listings to see if there are any other variants. Has anyone spotted any others?
Ooh, that’s rather good. I particularly like how the hobbit (Sam?) is facing back towards Aragorn. Lots of character here.
I received a Morlas from Chris as well, together with some figures that he auctioned on ebay. A completely unexpected (but very gratefully received bonus gift amongst the rarities This would be about 7 years ago.
Count me in!
I’ve bought from them (via ebay and direct) a few times in the past and I’ve been really quite impressed with their service. Everything arrived very well packaged (better than Mithril to be honest).
I bought one as well!

Thanks Milo, I’ll keep an eye on it!
Milo, I’ve sent you a PM.
Awesome find, every village should have one!
I would be interested in a complete M247 Noldor Elf Warrior and M221 Beleg Strongbow if you come across them.
Thanks Milo!
I’m on the case!Hi Milo,
My wants list:
Of the discontinued M series: M7 (the Gondor Foot Soldier); M78 (Razarac); and M247 (Noldor Elf Warrior) – these are the ones I haven’t got in any form and are the ones I’m most interested in.
In addition, from the Orc Warband – the running orc with the raised spear and the bare head (A5d?)
I’m also looking out for M221 Beleg as the one I’ve got has the bow broken at the hand and I don’t know how successful I’m going to be in repairing it.
I’m also joining the lengthy queue in looking out for the Dwaw of Waw and the Christmas 1997 figure as well! (Oh, and 16 of the Half Orcs of Isengard series.)
Milo, my parcel arrived today! Thanks very much! Only 3 more oop figures to get!
The Antique Finish MA1 Galadriel while pretty hard to get hold of (it’s only the second time I’ve seen it on ebay) it’s not unique – I found one on ebay about a year ago offered as a buy-it-now. It has a blue box with a yellow sticker reading: Fellowship MA1 Galadriel Mithril – there’s no character sheet with it. Underneath is ‘Mithril MA1 Galadriel’. Reading what Theobald has learned the one at auction must be more-or-less identical.
Is the factory-purchased figure primed and in a red box? Does it come with the character sheet? I just assumed that the one I bought was standard. Maybe the truth is that both antiqued and primed figures were sold by the factory – as also seems to happen with Xmas figures.
It wasn’t me either! Mithril is true silver isn’t it?
Bree, The Squirrel has landed!! A big round of applause to C T and Gildor is in order – thank you for your generosity and hard work!
And here’s Galadriel…
